We are looking for a GRC Analyst to join the Governance, Risk, Compliance (GRC) team to lead, innovate, and take on the full range of data challenges. Data analysis is critical in interpreting complex operational and product data to help Meta make informed decisions around the execution, requirements, and impact of GRC Programs. The GRC Analyst prepares insights to improve efficiency, enhance customer experiences, forecast needs, and manage risks by interpreting complex data sets. The learnings will help to inform strategic, executive, and operational decisions.

GRC Analyst Responsibilities:
- Data Definition: Understand and communicate the data needs of the Governance, Risk, and Compliance teams and work with Data Science and Engineering to create the right operational data views. Define, standardize and document the metrics.
- Data Quality: Assure that the data sets are accurate and actionable.
- Data Exploration and Analysis: Use data tools and techniques to explore and analyze data, identifying patterns, relationships, and trends.
- Data Visualization: Create visual representations of data findings through charts, graphs, and dashboards to make the data understandable and useful. Maintain and evolve the assets based on business feedback.
- Reporting: Prepare and share reports and presentations to communicate the insights and findings from the data to stakeholders and leadership, which can influence policy and decision-making processes.
- Collaboration: Work with business and product teams to understand and evolve their data needs and help them make informed decisions based on data insights. Also, collaborate with Data Engineering to ensure the data is accurate, and with Data Science to ensure the metrics and data narrative are consistent with theirs.
- 5+ years of analytics/reporting or similar business experience preparing and sharing insights and influencing stakeholders, adept at simplifying complex data insights for audiences without a technical background.
- 3+ years experience writing SQL queries and using data tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar tool) to compile, structure, examine, and present substantial data sets with precision and thoroughness.
- 7+ years of analytics/reporting or similar business experience
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, or a comparable discipline is advantageous.
- Experience applying data analytics to privacy, security, or integrity risk/compliance analysis and investigations
- Experience forecasting data trends.

$129,000/year to $185,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
