Meta Reality Labs is seeking a experienced operations lead with a strategic mindset and a proven track record of driving strategic business initiatives leveraging expertise in optical operations and roadmap development. The Prescription (Rx) Product Operations team plays a critical role in launching new prescription products, coordinating cross-functional efforts to ensure timely and effective market entry, while also establishing efficient operational processes that support long-term product success. We are a dynamic and innovative team that works closely with cross-functional partners to identify and resolve issues, optimize processes, and drive business growth.The ideal candidate should have an in-depth understanding of the optical industry, including prescription optical products, optical retail operations, and prescription buyer journeys. The successful candidate will develop roadmaps to enable the sale of Rx products across multiple sales channels and define requirements to support product manufacturing, order fulfillment, and the Rx customer journey.

Global Sales Operations - Rx Product Operations Lead Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of strategic Rx business initiatives to launch new prescription products, ensuring timely market entry and product adoption
- Create and implement comprehensive roadmaps to enable Rx product sales across multiple sales channels,
- Facilitate workshops and interviews with external partners to gather feature-level requirements, informing business strategy, roadmap planning, and sizing efforts, and ensuring that partner needs are met.
- Define business requirements to support product manufacturing, order fulfillment, and the Rx customer journey
- Analyze industry trends, leverage market research, and utilize data-driven insights to inform business decisions, optimize operational processes, and drive continuous improvement.
- Maintain a in-depth understanding of product roadmap and go-to-market strategies to inform and shape the operational strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
- Serve as the subject matter expert on Rx products and Rx channel needs
- Maintain productive relationships with partners and vendors to ensure seamless delivery of Rx products and services, including contract negotiations, performance monitoring, and issue resolution.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies, and identify potential risks and mitigation plans
- Develop and maintain a product schema for prescription lenses, including product mapping and assortment management, and manufacturing rules
- 7+ years of experience in optical industry operations, with experience in retail, manufacturing, and prescription product sales/procurement.
- Experience in the optical industry, prescription products, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience collaborating and managing relationships with external vendors and partners.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience to identify and mitigate risks.
- Experience collaborating and experience working effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience working independently and adapting in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
- Experience establishing business operations in a healthcare setting
- Experience working with consumer electronics channels and optical retailers
