Our labs, buildings and facilities are the foundation upon which our rapidly growing campus efficiently operates and research activities occur supporting the company roadmap. The engineering improvements and operations with a focus on cleanrooms and lab spaces for new and existing buildings and the construction of new buildings are important next steps in the evolution of the Meta's campus. Leading critical projects cross functionally, supporting building engineering with strategic analyses, implementing innovative technology solutions, and driving critical facilities design are just a few of the challenges for Facilities Engineer. The Facilities Engineer is responsible for the strategic and operational management of facilities engineering across both traditional office and technical facilities across multiple sites. This role is essential to ensure the safety, compliance, governance, and efficiency of the Integrated Facilities management ensuring the delivery of high quality maintenance and engineering servicesOur labs, buildings and facilities are the foundation upon which our rapidly growing campus efficiently operates and research activities occur supporting the company roadmap. Facilities Engineer Responsibilities:
- Working on Pacific Northwest Facilities strategic Initiatives which will evolve annually aligned with business objectives.
- Strategic delivery of the Vendor Management Framework for the Integrated Facility Management services in PNW/West Coast.
- Develop and drive Annual Planning Framework for the local Facilities Engineering Team (Budgeting, Technology and Sustainability).
- Drive Standardization and optimization initiatives that will enable efficiencies for the Facilities Engineering Team.
- Monitor, trend, and develop engineering metrics and statistical data for strategic planning
- Develop and implement regional facilities engineering strategies ensuring statutory compliance, risk management and governance controls across the Integrated Facilities Management delivery
- Monitor vendor performance and optimize service delivery
- Manage the commissioning process at a high level, ensure that upon completion of new builds that turnover is adequate and process is thorough
- Monitor, trend, and develop engineering metrics and statistical data for strategic planning.
- 8+ years of experience in design, operations and maintenance
- Knowledge of Cleanroom HVAC systems, and Building Management Systems and other building infrastructure delivery systems
- Knowledge of substations, power distribution and generator power systems
- Communication, presentation, project management, and reporting experience
- Experience working in a team environment and lead regional and global initiatives
- Demonstrated experience to provide customer service
- Experience to analyze financial and operational results and develop process controls
- BS in an engineering field
- Professional Engineer (PE) registration
- Knowledge of substations, power distribution and generator power systems
- Knowledge of industry standards, building codes and safety standards

$140,000/year to $194,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
