As an Edge Strategy Manager for the Asia-Pacific region you will analyze, develop, and support interconnection capabilities with service providers, and partner with internal teams to develop optimal deployment strategies with a comprehensive focus on growth, scale, and performance. In this role you will also be a primary contact working with partner networks to enable world-class experience across our entire portfolio of products. This is a full-time position based in our Singapore office.

Edge Strategy Manager Responsibilities:
- Lead, coordinate, and develop efforts with Internet Service Providers (ISPs) across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region for interconnection projects including peering, caching, building long-term capacity plans, negotiations, and fostering positive partnerships
- Provide analysis and detailed planning support to infrastructure, data analytics and product teams enabling in-depth understanding of partner ISP networks
- Evaluate platform program goals, implementation methodology, and optimal operational performance goals
- work to translate data to partner requirements/roadmaps
- Define and provide business justification for new or expansion of existing Points of Presence (PoPs) and evolving Edge architecture
- Concisely communicate progress of, and evolve changes to, the region strategy in collaboration with a wide variety of internal teams including network engineering, network planning, product, business development, legal, and leadership
- Regional travel to Meta sites, partner locations, and industry events
- 4+ years of experience in developing and implementing Internet Protocol (IP) network planning, Interconnection design, deployment and strategy, specifically IP or Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) networking, Peering, Caching, and content delivery.
- 2+ years of negotiations with, and relationship management of, APAC-region ISPs with an analytical and data-driven bias, evidenced by experience with large scale caching, peering, and transit negotiations
- Bachelor's degree, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- Willingness to travel within region
- Professional working proficiency in Mandarin, Cantonese, or Japanese is preferred as the role manages relationships with local ISPs where communications are generally made in local languages
