This role will focus on marketing multiple devices, emphasizing how our products work together to tell a compelling ecosystem story.We're seeking someone who can inspire and empower a diverse marketing team to deliver their best work yet. Collaboration is key, and the ideal leader will excel in cross-functional partnerships with Sales, Product Marketing, Product, Partnerships, Privacy, Creative, Media, Communications, and other key stakeholders. This role is integral to our Global Marketing leadership team, contributing to the growth and success of a rapidly expanding organization.

Director, Reality Labs Portfolio Marketing Responsibilities:
  • Category Marketing Leadership: Lead marketing efforts that highlight an area or category rather than singular products, showcasing how features and benefits interconnect across devices.
  • Ecosystem Storytelling: Craft and articulate the overarching Reality Labs ecosystem narrative, demonstrating how our products work together seamlessly to enhance users' lives. Collaborate with product, company marketing, and creative teams to ensure the ecosystem story is compelling, clear, and consistent across all channels and product agnostic
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product marketing, brand, and go-to-market teams to ensure cohesive messaging and positioning across devices and experiences. Serve as the central point of leadership for marketing strategies that cut across squads and products.
  • Strategic Focus on Features and Benefits: Highlight the integrated features and benefits of our products working together to create a holistic and impactful user experience. Ensure that messaging aligns with customer needs and inspires both adoption and loyalty.
  • Drive Brand Differentiation: Lead the effort to answer "Why Reality Labs?" by showcasing the unique value and innovative spirit of our portfolio. Create strategies that differentiate Reality Labs in the competitive landscape of technology and innovation.
  • Brand Partnerships: Identify, cultivate, and manage strategic brand partnerships to amplify Reality Labs' marketing initiatives and drive awareness. Collaborate with partners to co-create campaigns and activations that align with the Reality Labs ecosystem story and elevate the perception of our portfolio. Leverage partnerships to expand reach, create unique customer experiences, and enhance the value of our products within broader social and consumer contexts.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent marketing experience
  • 16+ years of experience in consumer marketing with 8+ years of experience in a brand marketing role for consumer brands
  • 8+ years of experience managing or leading teams
  • 8+ years of experience working on consumer technology brands/products/channels
  • 5+ years working on non-North American marketing efforts, whether based in North America or living in markets outside of North America
  • Experience leading fast growing, cross-functional teams, either formally through reporting structure or informally through influence
  • Experience working across marketing channels and influencing product and service experience
  • Experience developing brand strategy for world-renowned companies
  • Experience demonstrating the return of marketing investment in the short- and long-term
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in gaming, VR/MR/AR, retail, or relevant brands
  • Advanced qualifications in marketing strategy

$296,000/year to $356,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
