Product Operations plays a critical role in the product life-cycle at Meta, from ideation, to development, launch, growth and optimization. The team partners closely with product, engineering, marketing, and Global Ops to amplify the user and ensure that every product experience is safe, reliable, and supported at scale. Meta is looking for an experienced leader to lead our global Product Operations team. The Director of Product Operations is a critical role to accomplishing the company-wide mission to improve product experience and connect our users. This individual will assume global leadership responsibilities in developing a leadership team of managers and enabling our global team of specialists to execute on ambitious goals. This leader will drive cross-functional partnerships with product, engineering, and operations to improve the quality of our products and efficiency and scalability of our operations. Candidates will have strong judgment and a passion for improving the product experience for our global community of 3 billion+ users. Vision, flexibility, operational rigor and the ability to lead through change are essential.

Director, Product Operations Responsibilities:
  • Manage a large team of full time specialists to deliver on critical elements of Meta's Product Quality program (including friendly user testing and external bug detection)
  • Engage with product stakeholders to manage demand and further optimize the quality program for their respective Product teams
  • Manage a large contingent workforce for bug triaging and routing to engineering, including SLA's, quality and capacity management
  • Work in close collaboration with partners upstream and downstream to drive continuous improvement within and across the customer experience lifecycle
  • Manage the "Voice of the Community" Report for Meta leadership
  • Set long-term vision and build technology and AI solutions at scale to improve products
  • Identify and address inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement leveraging systems thinking
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10+ years people management experience including managing leaders and managing remotely across regions, proven track record of attracting, scaling and developing teams
  • Experience working cross-functionally with all levels of management, both internally and externally
  • Experience leading ambiguous and less defined environments
Preferred Qualifications:
  • MS/MBA degree
  • Experience with ML/AI model development and implementation
  • Experience bringing products from concept through the product life-cycle
  • Experience working collaboratively with product and engineering leaders across multiple functions
  • Experience working with Meta products is desirable

$221,000/year to $285,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
