Director of Global Services, Facilities, Culinary and Security (FCS)

At Meta, we seek a results-oriented leader who can effectively lead a critical function that empowers the Global Facilities, Culinary, and Security (FCS) teams to achieve their business objectives. The Director of Global Services will be responsible for leading a team that provides shared services across each of the FCS pillars, including but not limited to finance and budgeting, technology implementation and program management. The Director will work closely with FCS leadership to ensure that objectives are aligned and processes are streamlined across the organization.

Director of Global Services, Facilities, Culinary and Security (FCS) Responsibilities:

  • Support the VP of FCS through rigorous goal setting (using OKR framework) across FCS pillars. Partner with pillar leaders to ensure that goals are harmonized across FCS in support of department and company priorities.
  • Work with FCS leadership to prioritize and deliver program management support for pillar functions (Facilities, Culinary and Security).
  • Promote alignment across FCS by implementing common business processes. Collaborate with the Finance team to ensure that budgeting and procurement processes are consistent across FCS and align with company policies.
  • Efficiently collect and translate business needs into actionable outcomes through strong project management skills.
  • Champion cross-functional partnerships with FCS leaders to minimize friction and eliminate silos.
  • Support and inform the FCS leadership team with business reviews, metric reporting, budget coordination, industry trends, department communications, and FTE and contractor HC prioritization budgeting and tracking.
  • Act as integrator during budgeting/planning cycles, including opex and capex.
  • Ensure that vendor management frameworks are applied consistently across FCS, including reviewing contracting methodologies, business reviews and scorecarding.
  • Drive process automation, simplification, and standardization across the FCS space, empowering teams to focus on core competencies and consistently deliver exceptional results.
  • Work as liaison with XFN teams such as Finance, People and Legal to efficiently allocate resources across FCS pillars. Partner with FCS leadership to develop resource plans that support business initiatives.
  • Provide support as needed for M&A activity, including due diligence and integration.
  • Lead a team of professionals responsible for delivering highly technical and business critical technology infrastructure, such as badging/access, building automation and analytics surfaces.
  • Responsible for developing a multi-year technology roadmap for the FCS organization. Director will work closely with Enterprise Engineering and internal FCS users to develop build/buy scenarios for tool deployment.
  • Ensure that data collection methodologies are consistent and accurate, providing high fidelity business reporting within FCS and to internal customers.
  • Ensure that data sources are clearly defined and consistently used across department metrics. Data "sources of truth" should be clearly defined and documented.
  • Identify opportunities to scale FCS processes through the use of technology. Focus on leveraging common technology architectures to solve multiple use cases.
  • Work with FCS leadership to create a prioritization framework for technology investments, including quantitative and qualitative measures of success.
  • Responsible for developing a comprehensive business reporting framework across the FCS organization. Ensure that reporting cadences and formats are consistent, including QBRs and business reviews.
  • Work across FCS to develop goals and objectives that align with Meta company investments and initiatives.
  • Develop reporting frameworks and cadences for leaders across Meta, including the CFO and other key executives. Ensure that OKRs are tracked with measurable KPIs.
  • Develop reporting templates, including visualization surfaces, to provide leaders with actionable and easy to understand insights.
Minimum Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in leading multi-disciplinary teams including technology, program management, business insights
  • Experience working within a corporate real estate or facilities organization
  • Experience working with and communicating to Leadership, specifically with translating business needs to employee experience programs and real estate demand
  • Extensive P&L experience as well as experience to scenario plan to scale up and down quickly
  • Experience creating a strategy and leading multiple pillars of an organization made up of globally diverse teams
  • Demonstrable customer service skills including effective organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
