Director Metaverse Content Monetization

We are looking for seasoned product management leader to define the future of the Metaverse Economy, the North Star vision, the strategy to achieve it and the end-to-end ecosystem we need to build.

Director Metaverse Content Monetization Responsibilities:

  • Work with key stakeholders to build, educate and empower developers within the content metaverse ecosystem to drive best practices on engagement and monetization systems for their titles
  • Drive a culture of product management capabilities focused on building long term relationships with consumers that form repeatable, habitual relationships with content
  • Provide analysis and recommendations to developers to improve retention and monetization in titles
  • Work with developers and key stakeholders to build title-level KPIs to determine what good looks like and track progress towards success while providing guidance and recommendations to ensure titles will achieve their goals
  • Partner with marketing and tech cross-functional teams to build out best in class CRM systems for developers to communicate with their consumers dynamically with relevant content, assets and communications to drive engagement and monetization
  • Drive strategic direction, establish shared vision across the company by obtaining buy-in with the executive leadership team
  • Lead the roadmap definition, development, and end to end execution with a team of world-class engineers, data scientists, researchers, and other functional experts
  • Cultivate culture of executional excellence and analytical rigor
  • Partner closely with a diverse set of stakeholders across Horizon, Avatars and VR teams
  • Work with developers to build out system designs, features and roadmaps to achieve title goals
Minimum Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in product management
  • Experience taking highly ambiguous problems and forming a structured opinion on what we should do
  • Experience working and influencing effectively cross-functionally and building relationships across teams, including with people outside the direct reporting chain and senior executives
  • Experience defining what resourcing is needed to achieve those goals and effectively advocate for that
  • Experience managing and communicating effectively with executives
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in building digital economies and/or multi-game monetization models at scale
  • Experience to succeed in fast paced, ambiguous areas while also developing long-term vision
  • Drive clarity between immediate deliverables and trade-offs and how they translate to 2+ year views of success
  • Worked deeply on mass-market consumer product experiences
  • Animation, Gaming, or AR/VR experience

$232,000/year to $298,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
