We are looking for an experienced communications leader to grow and manage the Intelligence and Insights function within the Communications and Public Affairs Org. The Director of I&I leads a multi-disciplinary team that takes a holistic approach to strategy development across the entire comms organization. The responsibilities of the team span Intelligence (Real-time flagging, longitudinal narrative tracking and cycle analysis), Research (digging deep into strategic topics to provide leadership with insight), Messaging (ensuring disciplined deployment of research-backed narratives with target audiences) and Insights (analyzing how campaigns perform in driving business impact).

- Manage a program of strategic insights delivery across the Comms & PA org
- Run a research program to develop, test and refine comms messaging for key campaigns
- Oversee the monitoring and reporting of coverage trends for biz priority areas and major company news cycles
- Lead the global team responsible for insights, intelligence and monitoring across 30 priority markets and all company priority issues
- Experience setting up and running complex insights-driven teams or functions
- Extensive strategy or campaign development experience in the corporate or political sector
- Familiarity with a range of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies
- Experience deploying and experimenting with the latest and best technological tooling available for media tracking, monitoring and analysis
- Proven written and verbal presentational skills
- Willingness to inspire and excite a talented team of regional leads and analysts to do their best work
- 8+ years of experience in communications, public affairs, political campaigns or related industries

$218,000/year to $287,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
