Meta is seeking a Director of Global Affairs, a central agenda-setting and coordination role supporting the Chief Global Affairs Officer. This person will be responsible for leading strategic projects and initiatives on behalf of the CGAO, coordinating his work on regulatory analysis, policy strategy, and product counseling as well as external engagement priorities. This role will work effectively across the company, particularly with the Policy Planning and Communications Planning teams, as well as other strategic planning functions to streamline and optimize decision making for the CGAO. The ideal candidate will be comfortable functioning in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.

  • Lead strategic projects and initiatives on behalf of the Chief Global Affairs Officer, working with teams across Policy, Communications, Governance, and partners in Legal, Product, and Business teams
  • Manage coordination on regulatory analysis and product input for the Chief Global Affairs Office, working closely with relevant functional and regional leads
  • Work collaboratively with a wide range of subject matter experts internally and externally
  • Draft briefings, memos, and other relevant communications to support the Office of Global Affairs
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in public policy, communications, or related field
  • Strategic thinker with knowledge of geopolitical and global regulatory dynamics across key international markets
  • Extensive experience advising principals at high levels of government or business
  • Extensive experience managing cross-functional projects across both long and short-term time horizons
  • Demonstrated strength as a communicator
  • Proven interpersonal and analytical skills

$228,000/year to $291,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
