The Creative Audio Organization is a centralized team that touches nearly every product Meta produces, making our team integral to the company. We collaborate with product, creative, and engineering teams across Meta to design audio experiences across a wide range of software and hardware products, including but not limited to your phone, glasses, VR headsets and a mix of AR/MR experiences across these devices. We're a team of audio experts who design the experiences that connect people through the power of sound. The Creative Audio team is seeking a highly skilled Design Program Manager to join our Metaverse department. As a Design Program Manager at Meta, you will play a vital role in connecting teams and solving problems, enabling product teams to focus on designing, building, and shipping products by supporting various aspects of their work. You will improve team communication and collaboration, remove roadblocks, and utilize your organizational skills and experience to drive meaningful impact. In this role, you will help keep our teams on track, execute design initiatives aimed at growing team health, subject-matter knowledge, and team impact, and have the opportunity to work with cross-functional teams to establish effective ways of working together.

Design Program Manager - Creative Audio Responsibilities:
- Identify and drive large, organization-level product initiatives forward that have multiple stakeholders, competing deadlines, multiple dependencies and many moving parts
- Prioritize, assess tradeoffs, propose clear solutions and communicate strategically
- Identify, define and manage multi-team strategic initiatives that drive efficiency and impact, often contributing best practices to the discipline
- Own and facilitate meetings to drive progress against goals and objectives and establish clear next steps and owners, while resolving blocks that impede progress
- Proactively assess risk, raise flags and resolve issues before they become problems for larger teams
- Sought out as the operations subject-matter expert to the product team and trusted leader across the company, mentoring and sharing in-depth knowledge with team members
- Communicate persuasively to the right audience to get buy-in and feedback
- Proactively problem solve and distribute information effectively
- Define and measure impact of programs and initiatives both qualitatively and quantitatively, continually refining and iterating to ensure usage and adoption
- Scale programs and initiatives when necessary and delegate effectively with clear expectations
- Source and manage operational budgets, vendor relationships and contracts
- 6+ years of experience in program or project management
- Experience handling complexity and navigating ambiguity with teams on large scale 0 to 1 projects from concept to execution
- Experience working directly with sound designers, technical sound designers, and prototypers
- Experience consistently working under your own initiative, seeking feedback and input where appropriate
- Experience managing time-critical projects through to completion while balancing evolving priorities and a broad range of stakeholders
- Experience managing vendors and contractors
- Experience using data to identify problems and communicate solutions
- Familiarity with governance frameworks that ensure process efficiency, effectiveness, and alignment with hardware and software product development and user experience objectives
- Experience with Augmented Reality/Mixed Reality (AR/MR) technology or game development
- Interest in AI or generative AI systems
- Familiarity with audio production and audio production software
- Understanding of Digital Signal Processing (DSP), audio synthesis, and digital audio concepts and formats
- Experience organizing and visualizing data using Structured Query Language (SQL) and Tableau

$157,000/year to $218,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
