Global Data Center Deployment Strategy Lead leveraging industry market intelligence, experience and technical expertise in the areas of cost, schedule, constructability and commercial risk in hyper scale AI and production focused data center development. This role informs and influences both strategy and tactics across a broad spectrum of data center development from site selection, civil enablement, budget, critical path scheduling, mechanical and electrical system design, Supply chain readiness strategy and evaluations, commissioning and hand-off to operations. The role will leverage market intelligence to inform engineering and construction decision making focused on speed to market. The role requires a well rounded professional that can excel in both thought leadership and individual contributions creating high quality work products that align with the mission of the team.The mission of the Capacity and Deployment Strategy team, within the DEC Engineering Pillar, is to create and enable innovative deployment strategies, informed by real time evaluation of cost, schedule, constructability and commercial risk. The team strives to enhance durable decision making as we evaluate the options to optimize the delivery of capacity. The team establishes offsite Manufacturing strategies in alignment with technical roadmaps and develops components in partnership with Engineering technical teams. The team works closely in the development of new regions and new products to ensure cost, schedule, constructability and commercial risk are aligned with the objectives and needs of the business. The team is responsible for driving scenario planning and rolling up cost, schedule and risk analysis across New Regions, New Products, Leases and Retrofits into Company master capacity plan.

Deployment Strategy Lead Responsibilities:
- Identify and mitigate constructability risks during the planning and development of new DC regions and Products
- Influence major strategic decisions and daily tactical decisions by informing in near real time the implications of cost, schedule, constructability and commercial risk in the development of new DC regions and Products.
- Leverage Industry network to benchmark current and planned strategies and tactics against industry leading peers and pressure test internal teams to seek continuous improvement
- Partner with XFN teams in Site Selection, Site Development, Energy, Water, Environment and Policy in the development of new regions. Influence where, what and when we build by balancing priorities and ultimately to meet the capacity demand of the business.
- Partner with XFN teams in Delivery, Precon, Engineering and Operations to ensure seamless transition from development phase to execution phase and ensure the success of XFN teams
- Innovate and adapt to solve new challenges
- Identify risks that could derail the delivery of capacity and actively partner with XFN teams to mitigate those risks and quantify in the context of cost and schedule and articulate those risks to the business
- Partner with Engineering teams to help develop new products, always informing decision making through the lens of cost, schedule and commercial risk
- Present Objective and Key Results to leadership in the development of new strategies to meet business objectives.
- Partner with General Contractors, Subcontractors and the Vendor Supply chain in order to align on topics of cost, schedule, constructability, readiness and commercial risk and to innovate in order to meet the needs of the business
- Innovate on new Manufacturing Strategies to reduce on site labor demand, increase speed to market, improve safety, improve quality and drive efficiency.
- Partner with Planning team to run scenario analysis and feed in new product and new region cost and schedule data to inform master capacity planning for business.
- Thought leadership in the DC Construction and Manufacturing space through the lens of cost, schedule, constructability, risk, means and methods, innovation, market intelligence, benchmarking and deployment strategies.
- Travel required up to 20%
- 12+ years of experience in engineering or construction roles
- Experience working with electrical and mechanical systems in Data Center applications
- Demonstrated experience of understanding the market and the supply chain to explore what is possible
- Working knowledge of building standards and codes
- Experience managing construction sequencing and the development of a critical path schedule
- Experience with conceptual budgeting and cost estimating for large capital projects as well as scheduling tools
- Proficient in Excel, Power Point, Word, and other tools required to plan and communicate work products
- Mission critical, Infrastructure and/or data Center Construction Experience
- Proficient working knowledge of Primavera P6 scheduling tool
- Masters or License in Engineering Discipline such as Electrical , Mechanical, Civil or Construction Management
- 15+ years of experience including office and field
- Additional Experience or Certification in Project Management, Sustainability, Leadership, Logistics, Communications
- Diverse work experience from Owner, General Contractor, Trade Contractor, Supplier, Vendor, Consultant, Tangential Field.

$144,000/year to $201,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
