Meta is seeking a highly quantitative, analytical and motivated Data Science Manager to join Finance Data Science. The team's mission is to continuously improve the rigor and objectivity of the data, models and frameworks Meta uses to understand business drivers, accurately forecast revenue, and maximize ROI on its largest investments. The team has a unique bird's-eye view of Meta's business and is positioned at the center of the most important strategic decisions for the company. This role will focus on supporting a team of data scientists to improve how we model revenue drivers, deepen our understanding of incrementality, and build data-driven methodologies to allocate our resources optimally. The role is highly partner facing, and you will be expected to convince and influence stakeholders across a variety of data science, product, and finance teams. Ideal candidates are highly motivated and have a track record of using analytics to drive business or financial impact. You should be an experienced communicator, effective at combining technical expertise and business acumen, and drive to results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Data Science Manager, Finance Responsibilities:
- Inspire, lead and support a team of data scientists to fulfill our team's mission, grow in their careers and increase their impact.
- Actively influence the team's strategy, shape the team's roadmap, and use team insights to set and prioritize longer term goals.
- Own and lead data science projects end-to-end in partnership with other data science, finance or cross-functional teams to inform and influence investment decisions.
- Build analytical frameworks to allocate resources, and statistical models to extrapolate historical trends into highly accurate and explainable forecasts.
- Work with large and complex data sets to solve a wide array of challenging problems using different analytical and statistical approaches.
- Influence financial and business direction through compelling data-driven narratives and analytical/business reasoning, to finance and company leadership.
- Raise the bar of data science at Meta, including but not limited to driving data best practices (e.g. analysis, goaling, forecasting), improving analytical processes, scaling knowledge and tools, and mentoring other data scientists.
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., statistics, operations research, econometrics, computer science, engineering) or equivalent experience
- 12+ years of experience in data science, quantitative analysis or predictive modeling to inform business/financial strategy.
- 4+ years of experience with people management. You have a proven track record of leading high-performing analytics teams.
- Experience communicating both in low-level technical details as well as high-level strategies, translating effectively across business and technical domains.
- Proven track record in building analytical frameworks and synthesizing strategic insights in order to influence decision making at the leadership level.
- Experience with collaboration, business communication and leadership skills - people you work with view you as an analytics thought leader and world-class communicator.
- Highly self-motivated, resourceful and results oriented - you're willing to roll up your sleeves and do what it takes to drive impact.
- Advanced degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., statistics, operations research, econometrics, computer science, engineering).
- Prior experience in a fast-paced, large-scale company or previous experience with the digital ads business.

$206,000/year to $281,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
