Meta is seeking an experienced Data Center Research Analyst to support our data center research and industry intelligence efforts within our Data Center Community & Economic Development organization. You will support a cross-functional effort, providing real-time, actionable insights on peer companies' and broader industry-related data center initiatives.
Data Center Research Analyst Responsibilities:
- Track announcements, expansions, and new hyperscale data center projects by peers and cloud providers.
- Monitor peer construction timelines, power capacities, geographical distribution, and intended uses of the capacity.
- Implement CRM solutions to track day-to-day internal team interactions and insights gained through industry partner interactions.
- Prepare industry analysis reports and create and maintain real-time dashboards tracking new data center projects.
- Produce regular reports summarizing peer data center strategies and investments.
- Develop executive briefings on emerging trends in hyperscale data center deployments and hardware.

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., economics, business, engineering, etc.)
- 5+ years of experience in research, analysis, or related field
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Clear and direct communication and presentation skills
- Experience working independently and as part of a team
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus

$126,000/year to $179,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
