Data Architect Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable, efficient, and secure data architectures to support supply chain and manufacturing analytics.
- Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models for databases, data warehouses, and data lakes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Data Science, Engineering, and Business) to identify data requirements and design solutions.
- Ensure optimal schema design, query performance, and data integration across systems.
- Lead data governance initiatives, establishing policies, standards, and procedures for data management.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and lineage across the entire data ecosystem.
- Implement data privacy and security controls, especially for PII (Personally Identifiable Information).
- Monitor data quality metrics, identifying and resolving data anomalies and inconsistencies.
- Lead and manage Issue management (for data quality issues) & design audit framework for pipelines and dashboards
- Manage and work with foundations team on centralized Asset center to maintain all Reality Labs assets such as KPIs, Metrics, Data definitions, dashboards etc
- Manage Asset Quality scoring based on the data quality & other metrics
- Collaborate with engineering, analytics, and business teams to deliver data-driven solutions.
- Design and implement data models and algorithms that align with business requirements.
- 5+ years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, and data governance.
- Experience with SQL, Python, and ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Experience with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, NoSQL).
- Experience in data warehouse design, implementation, and usage (e.g., Hive)).
- Experience with data pipeline frameworks
- Experience with data privacy, security, and compliance standards (e.g., PII).
- Knowledge with enabling data pipelines for visualization tools (e.g., Tableau).
- Experience with supply chain and manufacturing data standards
- Proficient communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Certification in data architecture or a related field (e.g., Certified Data Architect, Certified Analytics Professional).
- Experience with Agile methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Knowledge of machine learning and artificial intelligence concepts.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI).
- Knowledge of statistical analysis and data mining techniques.

$124,000/year to $176,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
