At Meta, Mission Control is the organization responsible for end-to-end workforce planning, management, and headcount allocations for all of Meta. In this role, our team helps the business proactively drive their priorities aligned to the strategies of our human resources, recruiting, and finance departments. Further, they manage the day-to-day operations of headcount management across Meta.We are looking for a Data Analyst in our Mission Control Workforce Solutions team to drive operational efficiency, improve decision-making with data insights, and support the overall success of the organization. The role will involve using data analysis and visualization techniques to support business operations, building data and process automations, and working cross-functionally with business partners.

Data Analyst, Workforce Solutions Responsibilities:
- Query and analyze data about headcount management systems usage to identify opportunities for improving system performance and accuracy.
- Build data pipelines to enable recurring reporting, monitoring, and alerting on system performance and issues.
- Build automation to support and scale operational work of our team and cross functional partners.
- Design and develop reports and data visualizations.
- Conduct in-depth investigation of system and user behavior to identify root causes of data inaccuracy and drive resolution at scale.
- Partner with cross-functional partners to develop/improve processes and programs that improve system performance and data accuracy.
- Provide day-to-day support for data operations (bulk updates, data corrections, and so on) while also developing approaches to solve data issues at scale and in perpetuity.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and priorities, translating these to specific data and automation deliverables
- Create project plans and timelines for your own deliverables
- Create documentation of data and automation assets, processes, and best practices.
- Bachelor's Degree in a technical or research-oriented field such as engineering, data science, social science, or related fields (with focus on data - e.g. data journalism).
- 3+ years of experience working as a data analyst, automation developer, or similar role
- 3+ years of experience with SQL
- 3+ years of experience with Python, or a similar/equivalent language
- 3+ years of developing automation solutions with programming experience including designing, testing, and documenting solutions
- Experience with Excel, Google Sheets, Tableau, or similar business intelligence tools
- Demonstrated skills in effectively communicating conclusions from data to non-technical audiences
- Experience building integrated data flows across multiple systems
- Experience reconciling data across multiple sources and driving resolution of discrepancies
- Experience leading requirements gathering in ambiguous scenarios
