The mission of the Partnerships Operations Team is to ensure the health, stability, and high-performance of our global payments platform. The Partnership Operations Team is dedicated to operational partner management of our key payment partners, processors, and service providers. This team's responsibilities include relationship management, investigating, triaging and solving payment processing issues, supporting new partner integrations, and influencing internal stakeholders to help drive the business forward. To help us achieve our mission, we are adding a Payments Data Analyst in our Payments Partnership Operations team. In this role, you'll be responsible for driving data analytics and building out data solutions to combat chargebacks and fraud across our different payment flows at Meta. You'll be monitoring, understanding and building scalable data assets for our payments ecosystem.We are looking for someone who can set the direction in chargeback and fraud performance by aligning different engineering, product, and operations teams, and by building on the strengths of those teams. You will have a passion for data and have a track record of bringing course-changing insights to cross-functional teams.

Data Analyst, Payments Partnerships Operations Responsibilities:
- Provide data insights, determine what is important, clarify next steps and delegate to meet expectations.
- Design, prototype and test payment partner performance metrics.
- Create forecasting, monitoring and alerting systems for these metrics.
- Facilitate data conversations with product, engineering and operations teams, and payment partners to align on shared goals.
- Demonstrate experience in understanding of a complex technical environment through data and reporting of partner performance.
- Become an knowledgeable in Meta's payments, risk and support infrastructure, as well as products, tools, systems, and data.
- Lead efforts in creating quality assessment systems of complex payment flows.
- 5+ years of experience designing, running, and presenting data analysis.
- 5+ years of experience querying data (SQL or similar) or performing statistical analysis (R, Python, or similar).
- Proven experience building relationships among multiple teams.
- Experience explaining data analyses to cross-functional teams who are not focused on analytical work.
- Experience working with complex payment processing data.
- Experience working under own initiative and collaborating with other.
- Experience working with online payments data.
- Proven experience effectively convey ideas and information with a track record of articulating complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- A Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, Operations Research, Economics, Business or similar or equivalent professional experience.
- Graduate degree or equivalent practical experience in related fields.
- Experience delivering measurable results in risk, security, payments, or business strategy.
- Experience working in the payments industry, focused on how to improve payment processes.
