Meta is looking for an experienced Creative Technologist to join the Global Experiential and Industry Marketing (GEIM) team. GEIM leads experiential marketing across all of Meta including key innovation across the Reality Labs and AI Portfolio. Within GEIM, the Product Experiences team delivers experiences and demos that create product and platform enthusiasts - bringing hardware and software to market. We engage individuals and communities to deliver on the promise that technology builds human connections.You will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our overall experiential programs by providing technology solutions. As a Creative Technologist, you will collaborate closely with multiple cross-functional teams including engineering, product, creative, strategy, production to deliver innovation and breakthrough experiences.In this role you will be expected to be a hands-on builder and doer - with proven experience in ideation, rapid prototyping and scaling prototypes and innovative technical experiences.The ideal candidate has a mix of engineering and creative talent and is a multi-disciplinary expert with experience in AR/VR/MR, web, mobile, AI, photo/video technologies with capabilities in problem solving across contexts.In addition, having experience with end-to-end event planning and production, will be key to succeed in this role.

Creative Technologist Responsibilities:
- Ideate, conceptualize, prototype and scale innovative experiences across both physical and digital surfaces
- Deliver innovative and breakthrough experiences for events - across multiple audiences (including consumer, policy, business)
- Consult on experience development, customer journey, and technical considerations for events and programming
- Propose ideas and content for breakthrough customer experiences including the use of Meta platforms and products
- Design, develop and scale the delivery of Product Experiences in support of internal and external stakeholders
- Level 1 technical troubleshooting and engineering of real-time solutions
- Communicate status, risks and mitigations to stakeholders and partners
- proactively identify potential setbacks and develop mitigation plans
- Work closely with a cross-functional team as part of delivering large scale and high visibility events - both owned and industry
- 7+ years of experience working with cross-functional teams or stakeholders
- 5+ years of experience in events marketing
- Experience with ideation, prototyping, and scaling of technology solutions deployed at events
- Product experience best practices including customer journey design
- Knowledge of AR/VR/MR, AI, Web, Mobile, and Photo/Video technologies
- Experience developing technology and efficiency solutions for events
- Project management experience
- Presentation experience to key stakeholders and executives
- Experience working under deadlines
- Experience in the advertising, marketing technology, or media industry
- Experience in experiential marketing and programming
- Experience programming and/or producing large in-person events

$122,000/year to $176,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
