Content Operations Lead

The Global People Operations team strives to create and deliver a seamless and positive employee experience across the employee lifecycle. Within People Ops is the HR Technology team, which focuses primarily on the internal information ecosystem. HR Tech is a multidisciplinary team of experts spanning content strategy & technical web production, enterprise content management, system & solution design, and data & analytics. This team partners most closely with Engineering, product managers, UX researchers, and strategic teams that represent various operational processes and programs.We're looking for in-depth experience in the domains of enterprise content management, editorial workflows and communications planning, and cross-functional relationships within fast-paced and complex working environments. In a nutshell, you'll be the person responsible for mapping out the end-to-end content management experience (with a heavy focus on scalable workflows and governance frameworks), facilitating alignment across cross-functional parties, and ensuring appropriate resourcing across the team's content portfolio.

Content Operations Lead Responsibilities:
  • Partner daily with internal communications teams to ensure messaging alignment on timing, tone and desired outcomes
  • Supervise resourcing allocation of and work directly with vendor team of writers and web producers
  • Work directly with 100+ cross-functional, global stakeholders to understand their pain points, needs and goals as it relates to best representing their program content and knowledge
  • Create and maintain editorial workstream plans: essentially, an efficient and scalable system to track, anticipate and coordinate upcoming content needs of our global stakeholders
  • Consult with various levels of cross-functional partners on their communication and change management strategies
  • Provide ongoing program updates and reporting to stakeholders
  • Distill complex source content from multiple teams/stakeholders into user-friendly language that guides employees through often complicated processes
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 6+ years experience as a technical writer, copy writer or editor, and demonstrated experience quickly assessing the content creation skills of others
  • Proficiency in UX best practices, content strategy, and SEO
  • Highly collaborative and team-oriented
  • Demonstrated track record of proactively identifying issues, driving quality solutions and improving processes
  • Experience building and maintaining cross-functional relationships
  • Experience driving accountability for deliverables without a formal reporting structure
  • Proficiency in project management, but formal certification not required
  • Proficient data analysis skills
  • Bachelor's degree in a directly related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications or similar field
  • Proficiency in project management, but formal certification not required
  • Experience with benefits, compensation, health care, payroll, and related HR realms
  • Experience in a Big Tech environment

$122,000/year to $177,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
