We are looking for a product marketer to play a critical role in shaping WhatsApp's consumer experience. This person will play a significant role in leading and envisioning the future of the WhatsApp product experience and develop breakthrough marketing initiatives that drive consumer awareness, engagement, and retention aligned to our product.
Consumer Product Marketing Manager Responsibilities:
- Work with Marketing Insights and Data Science to generate actionable quantitative, qualitative, and competitive insights to inform strategy
- Build product positioning, clear narratives, and drive influence across the WhatsApp product to ensure we're delivering consumer value and driving understanding
- Drive go-to-market strategy working closely with cross-functional teams to determine effective launch plans and communications
- Partner with brand and integrated marketing on outbound marketing and advertising strategies, develop programs to drive consumer awareness, adoption and long term engagement
- Understand the WhatsApp Consumer and their connection with the product to drive meaningful new product/feature adoption and greater engagement.

- 7+ years of experience in product marketing and/or marketing, product management, or business experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or Economic discipline or equivalent product marketing experience
- Experience launching and scaling consumer products or services
- Experience working closely with product and design teams in the product development process
- Project management experience working with a variety of internal teams and stakeholders to understand and solve problems
- A passion for WhatsApp and its mission to connect the world privately
- Experience developing and driving analytically rigorous full funnel marketing campaigns
- International experience and knowledge of diverse social and business landscapes
- Experience working on complicated issues such as data sharing within matrixed organizations
- Understanding of consumer mobile app and technology landscape
