Clinical Data Manager

The Health and Wellbeing Team at Meta is seeking a Clinical Data Manager to support the development of innovative health technologies. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams, including research scientists, engineers, and product managers, to design and implement data management plans for clinical studies.

Clinical Data Manager Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement data management plans for clinical studies, including data collection, cleaning, and analysis
  • Develop and maintain electronic case report forms (eCRFs) using clinical trial management systems (CTMS)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop data collection methods, and analysis plans
  • Ensure data quality and integrity through data validation, cleaning, and monitoring
  • Develop and implement data management procedures and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Provide training and support to study staff on data management procedures and eCRF use
  • Collaborate with biostatisticians and data analysts to ensure accurate and complete data analysis
  • Participate in study close-out activities, including data archiving and finalization of study reports

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in clinical data management, including experience with eCRFs and CTMS
  • Demonstrated understanding of clinical data management principles and practices, including data quality and integrity
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
  • Proven experience of working prioritizing and working efficiently, to drive the most impactful work forwards
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree or higher in a field such as computer science, statistics, or a related field
  • Certification in clinical data management, such as Certified Data Manager or Certified Clinical Research Associate
  • Experience with programming languages, such as R or Python, and experience with data analysis software

$147,000/year to $208,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
