We're seeking an experienced and strategic Category Manager, New Products to lead the development and execution of our future Reality Labs HW product strategy, driving global business sales growth and revenue expansion. This role demands a high-performing, results-driven independent thinker with a proven track record of launching successful consumer electronic products and managing complex stakeholder relationships. A successful candidate will be responsible for defining and executing a comprehensive sales category strategy, developing go-to-channel plans, fostering cross-functional partnerships, and driving sales levers to ensure seamless launch moment readiness.

  • Category Strategy Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive go-to-channel strategy for upcoming Reality Labs HW products by analyzing market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs to inform business decisions.
  • Product Launch Management: Spearhead the launch of new Reality Labs HW products, ensuring timely and successful execution of launch plans, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive global sales strategy and execution.
  • Performance Metrics and Analysis: Develop and track key performance metrics, analyzing sales data, customer feedback, and market research to inform business decisions and optimize category performance.
  • Stakeholder Management: Foster relationships with internal stakeholders, including Sales, Marketing, Product, and Engineering teams, as well as external partners, to drive business growth and revenue expansion.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets for Reality Labs HW product launches, ensuring effective allocation of resources and ROI-driven decision-making.
  • Innovation and Market Analysis: Stay up-to-date on emerging trends and technologies, identifying opportunities for innovation and growth in the Wearable product category.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience in product management, category management, product marketing or a related field, with a focus on consumer electronics
  • Experience launching successful products and managing complex stakeholder relationships
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in data analysis and market research
  • Experience presenting to influence and persuade stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Analytics, Data Science, or a related field
  • 10+ years of professional experience in consumer electronics, with a demonstrated track record of launching new zero to 1 type of products, driving business growth and revenue expansion
  • Experience in 0-1 consumer Hardware, Wearables, Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality or Mixed Reality Devices
  • Start up experience

$150,000/year to $211,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
