We're looking for a Business Program Manager to join the Facebook Research UXR team supporting process improvement and operational distinction. This role will take on responsibilities to support and drive the overall effectiveness of the Facebook App Research team, with a specific focus on vendor and financial management. Additionally, there will be broader responsibilities working across the Meta organization to support increased efficiency, decreased costs and overall impact of our research development and execution. As a critical part of the team, a successful Business Program Manager will be organized, have experience in financial management, data analysis, contracting, and invoice management. Business Program Manager Responsibilities:
- Own the development, organization and execution of large, complex projects from inception to execution and effectively develop and communicate project/program statuses on a regular and predictable cadence.
- Manage the operational and financial efficiency of the Facebook Research budget by maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial datasets, files, and reports.
- Perform data analysis and provide insights to inform and support business decisions.
- Coordinate with cross-functional team members to gather and analyze critical data points.
- Assist in finalizing vendor onboarding, management of preferred vendor lists and associated attributes, execution of contracts/Purchase Orders and invoice tracking against open Purchase Orders.
- Facilitate change requests to ensure that all parties are informed of the impacts on schedule and budget.
- Prepare metric-driven status reports by gathering, analyzing and summarizing relevant information.
- Facilitate and drive internal and external meeting preparation, including content preparation, briefings, pre-reads and reports. Track action items and follow-ups as needed.
- Seamlessly shift between driving larger organizational priorities and routine daily tasks.
- 4+ years of experience as a project/program manager.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills.
- Experience of consistently working under your own initiative, being detail-oriented, and delivering results in a highly organized manner.
- Proficient in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office, particularly Sheets or Excel.
- Demonstrated experience crafting budgeting and financial information in a way that is accessible and understandable.
- Experience in management consulting or research operations.
- Skilled in extracting and manipulating large datasets.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
- Demonstrated project management experience, including ensuring cross functional projects and tasks are completed on time, driving and aligning priorities, communicating status, risks, and mitigations to stakeholders.

$94,000/year to $136,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
