As Business Planning & Operations Lead for Reality Labs Global Sales - Central Business Operations, you will bridge the technical and business worlds as you partner closely with cross-functional teams across Meta to bring the Metaverse Augmented Reality/Virtual Reality Products and related content offerings to the consumers served by major third party retailers and telecom companies worldwide. You will provide cross-functional leadership to chart strategic direction in sync with overall company roadmaps, while delivering flexible sales-focused capabilities that meet near to long term business needs. Your goal is that the business is well-positioned to move fast in adapting for scale and complexity.The ideal candidate will be passionate about the Meta, have a analytical and consultative mindset, experience in working with stakeholders from business and technical backgrounds, thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment delivering against tight deadlines, and a passion for scaling operations.Scope:The Business Planning & Operations Lead will partner with the leaders of our Reality Labs Global Sales and other cross-functional leaders. The role will entail running the Reality Labs Global Sales' Rhythm of Business cadences, lead the partnership with the Analytics and Data Engineering Teams, and drive cross-organizational operational programs. The role will be part of the Reality Labs Global Sales Planning & Operations team, and report to the Director of Business Planning and Operations

Business Planning & Operations Lead, Reality Labs Global Sales - Central Business Operations Responsibilities:
  • Define cohesive Rhythm of Business strategy to bolster the performance management of the Sales team by partnering closely with our sales and analytics teams
  • Establish consultative relationship with global and regional teams to drive a coordinated, consistent operational cadence
  • Guide the development of systems, tools and processes that enable more efficient business performance
  • Lead the identification of tooling requirements (first and third party needs) for operational needs, CRM systems, and other tools
  • Build and maintain working relationships with our core cross-functional partners, such as Data Science, Data Engineering, Marketing, and Sales leaders to deliver against the business priorities
  • Drive execution through capability to quickly move from high-level conversations into detailed operational discussions
  • Tap into analytical understanding of the business, levers, metrics and problem solving skills to dive into a specific area of the business
  • Develop or oversee advanced quantitative analysis and derive actionable insights
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor degree in business, engineering or other relevant / quantitative disciplines
  • 15+ years of experience in strategic planning, sales operations and /or business operations
  • Experience building and scaling entirely new initiatives or programs, from defining the strategy to execution and management post-launch
  • Proven experience leading product relationship management, global sales operations strategy, and centralized operations projects at a consulting firm or in a corporate strategy
  • Demonstrated communication and presentation skills with an emphasis on translating insights and data into actionable recommendations for leaders
  • Proven experience partnering closely with and influencing Product and cross-functional partners to deliver on integrated roadmaps and plans
  • Demonstrated problem solving and analysis skills, experience solving complex and diverse business problems (commercial, operational, organizational), and to drive projects from strategy to execution
  • Leadership and influencing skills. Can lead / influence stakeholders at all levels of an organization
  • Demonstrable experience working cross-functionally with leadership in developing and executing successful plans
  • Results and detail oriented, with advanced commercial/business acumen
  • Experience of effectively communicating complex features and systems in detail
  • Excel and Powerpoint skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • MBA or graduate degree in an analytical field
  • Experience with consumer retail, telcos, and/or DTC
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and drive initiatives in a cross-functional environment
  • Experience working with or in support of diverse communities
  • Experience in the technology / internet industry
  • Experience in enterprise software / SaaS

$152,000/year to $214,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
