We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Development Manager to join our Global Business Development Monetization Partnerships team at Meta. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving global partnerships to support our organization's strategic goals. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving partnerships from term sheet negotiations through product launches, managing relationships, and growing, measuring, and optimizing partnership success. We are looking for a leader who will be passionate about Meta products and enjoy working with product teams and multiple partners. It is essential that you are comfortable navigating cross-functional teams to achieve your goals.

- Identify, evaluate, negotiate, and close key deals with an ecosystem of ads and commerce partners that help drive revenue growth in core business
- Demonstrate fluency in the most complex legal and business issues in contracts and develop creative win-win solutions with our partners
- Be agile and execute across a broad range of products including mobile, video, advertising, big data, platforms, commerce and growth
- Analyze markets and synthesize recommendations into actionable partnerships plans
- Lead cross-functional internal alignment to drive decision making in the deal process
- Collaborate with a broad range of internal constituents to help define go-to-market strategy and drive sign-off from internal leadership
- Represent Meta in meetings with executives from our partner companies
- 8+ years experience in partnerships, business development, or related field in an internet or technology startup environment
- Experience with structuring and negotiating complex partnership agreements
- Experience in working closely with product teams on new product partnerships and ecosystem strategy
- Experience analyzing data and deriving actionable business insights. Experience distilling information and insights into effective presentations for leadership
- Base level knowledge of the advertising ecosystem including the technology, what large and small companies are doing, industry alliances, and broader government and regulatory positions especially in EMEA region
- Masters or MBA preferred
- Experience closing strategic software, services, data and licensing deals
- Experience in an internet or technology environment
- Experience managing leadership escalations/briefings on complex partner related issue
- Experience learning new technologies and distilling information into actionable insights for internal stakeholders
- Familiarity/Knowledge with advertising, e-commerce and messaging platforms businesses, landscape and challenges/opportunities of the ecosystem
- Experience working effectively with cross-functional teams such as Product, Legal, Engineering, Partnerships, Sales and Marketing
