Our agile team is looking for someone passionate about the future of the entertainment vertical and is excited to support the creation of new content ecosystems. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your strong understanding of the intersection between the Internet, high-tech and entertainment industries to structure innovative and impactful partnerships that help shape the future of consumer devices and other emerging technology. This person will drive the partnerships from concept creation and initial partner pitches to term sheet and long-form negotiations, product launches, and growing, measuring and optimizing partnership success. We are looking for a leader who will be passionate about new hardware, platforms and content and enjoy working with product teams and multiple partners and must be comfortable navigating cross functional teams to get the job done.

Business Development Manager (Entertainment) Responsibilities:
- Define, pitch, and negotiate and close complex distribution and app licensing deals, renewals and addendums with entertainment partners on devices and services (e.g. Quest, Avatars, Horizon, Ray Ban Meta Glasses, Apps)
- Work cross-functionally with content, marketing, legal, finance, product, engineering and our broader Meta partnerships teams to negotiate deal terms, drive special projects, advocate internally for partners, and educate on industry norms
- Serve as a strategic advisor to content, product and engineering teams on fitness strategies to improve the user experience and create appropriate tools for the developer ecosystem (e.g. Software Development Kits)
- Work closely with internal teams to support key partnerships on business and operational issues throughout development and post-launch
- Drive long-term partnership growth efforts with a focus on developing new business opportunities, establishing deal frameworks, uncovering ways to optimize existing partnerships, as well as helping drive analyses of key strategic projects
- Represent the organization in meetings with executives from other entertainment/media/streaming companies
- 10+ years of work experience, including 5+ years of related business development for entertainment industries
- Experience working with large brands, developers and/or hardware platforms
- Highly strategic and experience structuring and negotiating complex agreements, including experience in interpreting legal documents and work with attorneys to complete agreements
- Experience working cross-functionally to orchestrate and successfully complete deals
- Experience with a fast-paced, highly ambiguous start-up environment
- Experience adapting easily to change and to multitask
- Experience developing proven working relationships inside and outside Meta
- Experience working with entertainment products and services, including knowledge of both traditional and new media licensing ecosystems.
- Experience working at a company, studio or a streamer.

$159,000/year to $223,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
