ASIC IP Design Manager, Reality Labs Responsibilities:
- Team Management: Lead and manage a team of ASIC design engineers, hiring, training, and guidance to ensure on-time and on-budget product delivery.
- Design Planning and Execution: Drive RTL design planning and execution, design methodology development, IP design, and SOC integration for Audio, Computer Vision, and Image Processing hardware accelerator IPs.
- Collaboration: Participate in silicon architecture and micro-architecture development, and interface with Architecture, SW/FW, Verification, Modelling, Emulation, and Post-Silicon Validation teams.
- IP Development: Collaborate with IP development teams and participate in soft and hard IP identification, selection, and IP licensing.
- Vendor Management: Analyze, review, and contribute to SOWs from vendors, supporting documentation, and requirements sets that meet internal customer needs.
- Performance Metrics: Define, implement, and maintain key performance indicators (KPI) for areas of responsibility.
- External Partnerships: Partner with technical program management and supply chain team members to manage external development partners, suppliers, and vendors.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with internal stakeholders, including executives, team managers, and individual contributors.
- Innovation: Foster innovation within the team, encouraging new ideas and approaches to design and development.
- Define, implement, and maintain key performance indicators for areas of responsibility.

- 10+ years of experience in ASIC design and development
- Proven track record of leading and managing teams
- Technical experience in RTL design, u-Arch, IP design, and SOC integration
- Demonstrated communication and collaboration skills
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including architecture, SW/FW, verification, modeling, emulation, and post-silicon validation teams
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field
- Experience with external development partners, suppliers, and vendors
- Knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies in ASIC design and development
- Experience with agile development methodologies
- Certification in project management or a related field
- Experience with cloud-based design and development tools
