You're a conceptual art director with a high level of craft and design skills to help set the visual tone for groundbreaking ideas across all mediums and audiences. You'll work on campaigns across our family of apps, creating culture-defining films, commercials, in-product short and long-form videos, digital banners, and print media-helping set a high creative and strategic visual bar for Meta brand work. Your killer craft instincts and attention to detail help round out a highly collaborative team environment.

Art Director Responsibilities:
- Concept and create big ideas for all mediums, including mobile, social, app design/product, film, interactive, content, activations, OOH, print, experiential, events, etc.
- Should be detail-focused with an eye for visual craft to independently own projects and drive art direction, design, and conceptual ideas that tell a brand or product story
- Breakdown complicated technology and systems in simple visual ways to a non-technical audience
- Present ideas in a clear and focused way that builds consensus within the team
- Work collaboratively within a cross-functional team environment with copywriters, designers, engineers, strategists, and product managers
- Work autonomously, demonstrating your experience taking initiative and leading projects
- 5+ years experience in agency/in-house concepting and designing campaigns for global brands
- Demonstrated experience working on mobile-first social campaigns
- Experience crafting art direction that connects humanity to technology in a way that is understood by audiences
- History of self-initiated projects
- Communication skills
- Must obtain work authorization in country of employment at the time of hire and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment
- Experience working cross-functionally within a highly collaborative environment
- 7+ years experience in-agency/in-house
- Experience in-product storytelling and project strategy for emerging technologies
- Demonstrate proficiency in Adobe Creative programs inDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
- Basic proficiency in motion animation design
- Experience pursuing emerging technologies
- Future-first mindset, and experience creating in new platforms. This may include, but is not limited to: augmented, virtual or mixed reality, gaming, Web3, AI, NFTs, avatars, etc
