RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct comprehensive and in-depth company and industry research.
  • Complete due diligence checklists and coordinate due diligence information processes.
  • Communicate and interact with deal team members, including those in international regions.
  • Contribute to several projects at once and working effectively as an individual and as part of the team.
  • Play a key role in supporting origination, opportunity evaluation, and deal execution and work on a broad scope of assignments and products within an industry group.
  • Prepare financial analysis for companies in Latin America region, including detailed valuation analysis, LBO analysis, discounted cash flow, accretion and dilution, M&A transaction pro forma analysis, comparative company analysis, and sum of the parts analysis.
  • Conduct due diligence and prepare materials for clients in connection with M&A transactions.
  • Prepare client presentation materials, internal approval memos, and marketing documents including roadshow materials, confidential information memorandums, and rating agency presentations to execute transactions.
  • Conduct research using Factset, Capital IQ, Bloomberg, and Thomson to analyze market data and competitive dynamics.
  • Review engagement letters, confidential agreements, and other documents related to investment banking transactions.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Master's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related; and
  • 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related finance occupation.
  • Must include 3 years of experience in each of the following:
  • Preparing financial analysis for companies in Latin America region, including detailed valuation analysis, LBO analysis, discounted cash flow, accretion and dilution, M&A transaction pro forma analysis, comparative company analysis, and sum of the parts analysis;
  • Conducting due diligence and preparing materials for clients in connection with M&A transactions;
  • Preparing client presentation materials, internal approval memos, and marketing documents such as roadshow materials, confidential information memorandums, and rating agency presentations to execute transactions;
  • Conducting research using Factset, Capital IQ, Bloomberg, and Thomson to analyze market data and competitive dynamics; and, Reviewing engagement letters, confidential agreements, and other documents related to investment banking transactions.
  • In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor's degree and 5 years of progressively responsible experience.
  • 25% domestic and international travel, as necessary.

Pay range

$275,000.00 - $285,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
