Job Description:
This job is responsible for managing a major functional component of a key business in Product Management. Key responsibilities include collaborating with senior management to develop and sponsor core strategies across Bank of America and maintaining financial responsibilities, including forecasts of volume and revenue trends, product profitability, and components of product costs. Job expectations may include managing a team to ensuring that the product management efforts are integrated with sales, technology, implementation, and servicing.
Responsibilities:
- Manage P&L of Traditional Trade business, with a focus on both growth and maintenance opportunities.
- Serve as product capabilities expert and technical trade product expert. Support the complex, specialized trade needs as part of the deal team for large deals.
- Continuously benchmark existing solution set versus key competitors and integrate best practices into the product roadmap/investment prioritization.
- Collaborate with the global product management and regional product delivery teams on trade pricing to ensure market competitiveness and profitability.
- Identify product gaps/opportunities and drive innovative solutions to deliver industry-leading solutions to the broad BofA client base.
- Support Trade PSS/TSO's to differentiate and WIN in the market (large, globally significant deals), as well as helping to drive trade and treasury cross-sell opportunities.
- In close partnership with Regional Product teams, collaborate to execute on focused programs (e.g., Commercial Bank international growth strategy, OAA and SCF cross-currency payments strategy)
- Work closely with Corporate Banking, Wholesale Credit, Operations, Compliance, Legal, and Risk partners to drive profitable, responsible growth while enforcing risk discipline/awareness and product suitability.
- In partnership with Marketing and Trade PSS execs, increase visibility of the Bank's trade business by supporting execution of a comprehensive internal/external marketing campaign.
- Represent the Bank at Trade conferences and on industry working groups.
Required Qualifications:
- Senior professional with minimum of 15 years of Trade/Supply Chain product experience working for either bank, financial institution, or FinTech, with demonstrated record of increasingly broader roles in open account trade processing and financing products and/or other working capital products.
- Top-flight technical Trade expertise.
- Foundational credit experience.
- Strategic and analytical abilities.
- Partnering skills with sales, credit, and platform teams; proficient PC skills including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Embrace new technology; engage with outside providers/channel partners to accelerate growth.
- Demonstrated track-record in delivering projects per plan and on budget.

- Fluent in other complementary forms of Trade Finance and Payments, sees a client through end-to-end delivery and execution.
Minimum Educational Requirements: BA Degree or equivalent work experience.

Pay and benefits information
Pay range
$250,000.00 - $450,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.
Discretionary incentive eligible
This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
