Position Summary:

Team APS (App Production Services):

APS team provides application support services to Consumer and Small Business, Wealth Management and Global Banking lines of business. Key supported applications include multiple instances of Salesforce CRM, Mortgage Technology (iOriginate/iFulfill), Entitlements to applications across the enterprise and fraud detection.

The team is responsible for maintaining application stability and supporting associates in performing their day-to-day tasks, which include Consumer customer outreach/sales/campaigns, Global Banking entity and pipeline deal management, and mortgage loan origination and fulfillment.

The team is also responsible for triaging production issues, restoring app functionality, enhancing the user experience, application monitoring, automation, and 24/7 support.

The position is for a Banking Finance Production Support Analyst providing L2 support for the Banking GCIB and Sales applications.

Key responsibilities are:

  • Responsible for Incident management and conducting proper problem follow-up.
  • Proactively monitor and manage the production environment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application problems including but not limited to Job failures, feed management, monitoring etc
  • Improve and or create documentation of support policies and procedures
  • Understanding, in depth, the business processes supported by the system.
  • Support application releases, implementations, upgrades, and/or changes into the environment.
  • Ensuring continuity and quality by owning the resolution of issues across platforms. Tracking progress and escalating as appropriate unless resolution reached.
  • To ensure that applications and related services are documented and kept current.
  • Automate and build adhoc scripts as needed to address critical business needs.
  • Maintaining a knowledge base of known defects and issues, process, techniques etc
  • Takes part in production support rotation and responding and resolving production problems
  • Weekend or after-hours work is required to support critical business initiatives such as application deployments (Pre & Post activities), infrastructure changes, Industry-wide tests, or Disaster Recovery tests.
  • Build strong partnership with CIO team, Infrastructure, and platform teams.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in Application production support.
  • 5 years of hands-on experience in Java / J2EE Development and Support
  • 4 years of hands-on experience with WebLogic application servers, Portal, Web services and jQuery
  • 4 years of Database experience preferably Oracle and PL/SQL
  • Experience in UNIX and Windows servers

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in developing and supporting ASP.NET. applications
