Job Description:
This job is responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals. Key responsibilities of the job include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional and compliance requirements, and solutions are well designed with maintainability/ease of integration and testing built-in from the outset. Job expectations include a strong knowledge of development and testing practices common to the industry and design and architectural patterns.

We are seeking for experienced and skilled .NET engineer to join our team. As a .NET engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications using .NET core technology stack. You will work collaboratively with our cross-functional teams to design, develop and implement software solution that meets business needs.

• Write clean, efficient and well-documented code that adheres to industry standards and best practices.

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications using .NET technologies such as C#, .NET core.

• Collaborate with cross functional team to identify and prioritize requirements.

• Participate in code reviews and ensure that all solutions are align with industry standards.

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and defects.

• Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in .NET developments.

Required Skills:

• At least 5+ years of experience in .NET development

• Proficient in C# and .NET core fundamentals

• Proficiency in Oracle / MSSQL / PostgreSQL or another relational database platform is an acceptable alternative

• Experience with development tools lie Visual Studio, git, etc.

• Strong understanding of OOPs, design patterns and SOLID principles

• Familiarity with version control systems like Git

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to details

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Desired Skills

• Experience with ASP.NET Core MVC & Web API, SQL Server, Entity Framework Core

• Experience with ReactJS, VueJS

• Knowledge of web technologies like HTML, CSS and JavaScript

• Experience with testing frameworks like NUnit and xUnit

• Familiarity with distributed databases such as CockroachDB

• Exposure to event-driven architectures and messaging systems like Kafka

Responsibilities:

  • Codes solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements
  • Designs, develops, and modifies architecture components, application interfaces, and solution enablers while ensuring principal architecture integrity is maintained
  • Mentors other software engineers and coach team on Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI-CD) practices and automating tool stack
  • Executes story refinement, definition of requirements, and estimating work necessary to realize a story through the delivery lifecycle
  • Performs spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas
  • Automates manual release activities
  • Designs, develops, and maintains automated test suites (integration, regression, performance)
