Job Description:
This job is responsible for testing and delivering complex software to accomplish business outcomes. The job establishes testing scope and coordinates test execution. Key responsibilities of the job include overseeing testing practices ensuring that software is tested to meet functional, non-functional and compliance requirements, conditioning and generating test data, building and executing both manual and automated test suites, recording and communicating the test results, triage defects, and ensuring regression test suites are maintained and well designed.

Position Summary

  • Conducts end-to-end testing on FC/ATM applications and technology, to ensure that business, technical, functional requirements are being met throughout the SDLC.
  • Executes test scripts based upon test strategy/plans in an effort to identify defects prior to production.
  • Tests may be manual, automated or both. May also include Production Certification which requires manual/automated scripts be executed to certify production health and/or identify post-production defects.

Responsibilities:

  • Creates and optimizes test processes including defect management and reporting
  • Creates and optimizes test automation frameworks and use of test automation tools
  • Leads test planning for complex features that span across the platform or multiple teams
  • Creates a test automation strategy across the application stack (UI, API, and Backend, etc.)
  • Ensures alignment and sign off for test cases from business and other stakeholders
  • Manages test execution and resolves, communicates or escalates any issues that may result in test plan variance
  • Designs test data and ensure data compliance requirements are met on all levels of test environments

Required Qualifications

  • 6 to 8 years of strong experience in UFT Automation & Agile Testing.
  • Experience in device testing like ipads, check scanner, MICR reader etc.
  • Knowledge in Automation Testing & Services Testing.
  • Experience in leading QA delivery from GBS
  • Good hands on to overall testing process like Integration Testing, Regression Testing, Risk Mitigation Testing, Smoke Testing etc.
  • Experience with Test Management tools like - Quality Centre (QC), JIRA and /or Rally.
  • Should be well versed with Agile Delivery model.
  • Expertise in preparing the Test Strategy, Test Plan, Test Cases & Test Data Setup.
  • Defect Management.
  • Good Communication Skills.
