Job Description:

The Business Support Associate will be a member of the Global Research Enterprise and Regulatory Controls team and will work with internal business associates across regions to provide control execution and support of enterprise and regulatory program requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with internal partners to understand research processes related controls, and document those processes
  • Develop and maintain procedure documentation to align with business practices and identify where existing practice can be improved
  • Collaborate with partners to review process and control documentation, process flows, and maintain required documentation supporting the same
  • Coordinate with audit or compliance during audits and examinations, providing necessary documentation and support
  • Participate in risk assessment activities to identify and prioritize key risks impacting the business, including maintaining inventories and documentation supporting reviews
  • Manage competing deadlines across multiple workstreams, maintain a forward calendar of deliverables
  • Participate in enterprise routines impacting the Global Research business, such as Enterprise Process Management, Service Enablement, etc.

Required Skills:

  • Undergraduate Degree or equivalent years of experience
  • 2+ years of full-time experience working in in business controls, compliance, audit, or risk management role, preferably in a regulated industry
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify issues, analyze root causes, and develop practical solutions
  • Ability to summarize complex projects and bodies of work to Senior Management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail; exercise strong quality control over own work
  • Superior problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a dynamic setting
  • Ability to work effectively with others in a collaborative environment, as well as the ability to work autonomously

Pay and benefits information

Pay range

$90,000.00 - $125,600.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
