Job Description:
This job is responsible for planning and coordinating the execution of project/small program deliverables which requires the engagement of multiple teams. Key responsibilities include communicating work objectives, coordinating delivery, facilitating sync points across teams, providing end-to-end visibility into the health of the deliverables, and managing program risk and compliance to standards. Job expectations include ensuring delivery meets the client's expectations in terms of the functionality, quality, timeline, and cost.

LOB Specific Job Description:

The role will serve a s crucial bridge between business needs and technical execution, ensuring effective communication and understanding throughout the program lifecycle. Work with various stakeholders across business and tech to analyze and define business requirements, and oversee project planning and implementation. Requires strong analytical skillset, project management expertise, and ability to navigate complex cross-LOB requirements.

Global Markets Regulatory Reporting & Operations Technology provides a number of horizontal, cross product capabilities to the Global Markets business. It covers transaction reporting, non-financial regulatory reporting, process automation tools, fees & billing, reconciliation, client service tooling, metrics and analytics, and a cross product program delivery capability. The initiative portfolio of the team is very large ($100m - $200m range) and requires appropriate oversight and governance to meet Enterprise Standards, and achieve critical funded business outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Leads and coordinates routines to support delivery (for example, kick-offs, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, and tollgates, etc.)
  • Manages coordination of delivery and dependencies across multiple teams
  • Facilitates communication and collaboration across organizations to support the deliverable completion and timeline
  • Provides status updates for the deliverables to stakeholders and leadership pertaining to delivery, risks, issues, and schedule
  • Works with sponsors and stakeholders to ensure that execution is aligned with deliverable requirements
  • Supports resource planning for delivery and execution
  • Ensures adherence with Enterprise Change Management standards

The role is to work with the Portfolio Delivery Manager to:

  • Drive a culture of delivery excellence.
  • Ensure key messages are communicated to the delivery team.
  • Chair internal delivery community meetings.
  • Work with the group COO to ensure that weekly communications to our CIO clearly convey the benefit of our deliverables and accurately communicate risks in a concise and timely manner.
  • Work with the program and Technology teams to craft materials describing delivered value for senior management Technology and business forums, as well as more employee focussed events such as Town Halls and year end events.
  • Face off to central COO / PMO teams to manage portfolio budget planning, including a rigorous annual planning cycle and an ongoing change control process to disposition in year external demand, to find ways of balancing the portfolio to accurately reflect changing priorities.
  • QA 4 blockers across the portfolio for the Markets Initiative Forum, working with program leads to ensure clarity of messaging.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in technology, with a proven track record of supporting and delivering large , complex technology projects
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, to the level of coaching others
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with senior management
  • Proven experience delivering large scale projects in a financial services environment
  • Proven record of on time and on budget delivery
  • Prior experience working within Technology in the financial services
  • Ability to foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in the financial services industry particularly in the areas related to regulatory reporting, compliance, and risk management
  • Experience with full software development lifecycle
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data

Minimum Education Requirement: Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience

Pay and benefits information

Pay range

$65,800.00 - $155,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
