RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Understand the unique complexity of each of our businesses and ensuring the business operates efficiently to meet our strategic goals.
  • Work closely with the Global Control Room in its management and monitoring of the information wall between banking and markets.
  • Work closely with deal teams during the pendency of investment banking transactions so conflicts may be managed appropriately.
  • Review certain investment banking transactions for potential conflicts of interest.
  • Review proposed deal team members for potential conflicts of interest.
  • Support senior members of the group in their review of complicated investment banking transactions.
  • Clear confidentiality agreements related to investment banking transactions.
  • Review certain capital markets and M&A transactions for potential conflicts of interest and business selection purposes.
  • Assist in the preparation of disclosure memos provided to clients in certain M&A deals.
  • Working with the legal department to seek needed releases and consents from clients to manage conflicts appropriately.
  • Review negative news and background reports on clients for potential reputational risk concerns.
  • Prepare various reports for senior members of the group as well as senior management.
  • Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related; and
  • 2 years of experience in the job offered or a related finance occupation.
  • Must include 2 years of experience in each of the following:
  • Clearing confidentiality agreements related to investment banking transactions;
  • Reviewing certain capital markets and M&A transactions for potential conflicts of interest and business selection purposes;
  • Assisting in the preparation of disclosure memos provided to clients in certain M&A deals;
  • Working with the legal department to seek needed releases and consents from clients to manage conflicts appropriately;
  • Reviewing negative news and background reports on clients for potential reputational risk concerns; and,
  • Preparing various reports for senior members of the group as well as senior management.
  • The employer will accept a Bachelor's degree from a business school as meeting the degree requirement.

Pay and benefits information

Pay range

$97,000.00 - $107,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
