Job Description:
This job is responsible for defining and leading the engineering approach within an end-to-end technology stack. Key responsibilities include leading teams to deliver engineering design solutions and creating and ensuring system design technology solutions comply with enterprise system design and engineering standards. Job expectations include advocating and advancing modern Agile solution delivery practices and promoting exceptional design, engineering, and organizational practices.

Engineer, implement and support software and OS solutions for Bank of America ATMs. Integrate applications, utilities, drivers and device control components from our vendor partners. Create and install software images on ATM machines in a lab environment. Requires a team player with, strong communication/collaboration skills and an ability to identify and overcome logistical hurdles.

Responsibilities:

  • Gathers knowledge of incremental solution requests via initial Application Development team engagement process and uses that knowledge and guidance from more senior engineers to propose a solution design for further review and approval
  • Works with Application Development teams and Infrastructure and Development Operations Engineers to understand stability, resiliency, reliability, and performance requirements and provide full lifecycle management, inclusive of business as usual (BAU) items, by partnering with Application Manager(s)
  • Provides consulting services to technology stakeholders on emerging technologies
  • Provides release support when needed, manages work engagement through change, and releases ticketing systems

Required Qualifications:

  • Development experience with one or more of C++/C#/Powershell
  • Windows 10 configuration experience with ACLs, AD Policy (LPO/GPO) and account configuration
  • Windows 10 imaging, deployment and installation
  • Visual Studio
  • Solid networking skills TCP/IP, TLS

Desired Qualifications:

  • ATM industry experience
  • ATM applications and XFS a plus
  • Hardware integration experience (drivers, configuration)
  • Experience interfacing with physical devices via vendor SDK's, APIs.
  • Experience with self-service terminals (ATMS/Kiosks)
  • OS/Software imaging/packaging experience
  • Web Development Expertise (e.g. REST)
