We are looking for an energetic, self-starter to join our Enterprise Information Technology team to help us identify and deliver business solutions, in partnership with Global Supplier Management Group and Information Technology colleagues. These critical functions operate at a global scale, supporting our business in over 130 countries.
Software Engineer is a key role within the GSM/WS Value team. This individual will be closely working with Technical lead and responsible for configuring, coding and developing new solutions or enhancing existing solutions in Supplier Performance and Analytics and Supplier Risk and Vendor management areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Constructs, amends, and verifies software systems, components, and integrations by writing software programs subject to estimation, measurement, quality processes, appropriate documentation, and continuous improvement processes.
- Enables and maintains software configuration management capability across heterogeneous technology environments, architectures, and platforms.
- Creates, and adapts software configuration applications, and interfaces subject to solution architecture, specifications, and a broad ensemble of requirements.
- Develops and employs software capabilities empowering creation, retrieval, update, and destruction of data subject to given objectives regarding security, compliance, policy, scalability, efficiency, reliability, fidelity, flexibility and portability.
- Validation and testing of integrated systems subject to organizational standards regarding security, reporting, observation, and control. Supports the enablement of processes related to incident, recovery, and post-mortem activity.
- Develop expertise in Third Party Risk Management, Supplier Performance Analytics, and Supplier Management, and the core business processes supported.
- Demonstrate strong working knowledge of modern development practices and technology stack on the cloud.
- Demonstrate ability to focus on key priorities and lead and collaborate effectively to deliver on IT commitments.
- Strive to be a valued member of the extended Global Supplier Management partners' teams.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working in large, complex IT development projects
- Proficient level of experience and knowledge of SAP Vendor Master Data, Ariba Supplier Lifecycle and Performance Management, SAP Ariba procurement and SAP Fieldglass.
- Good working experience in application design, development and configuration of SAP Ariba SLP , Supplier analytics and risk management applications such as Aravo and APEX, and SAP Fieldglass
- Experience building and consuming web-based APIs and knowledge of AI technologies is a plus.
- Experience in creating technical documentation and functional testing, which includes Unit and Integration.
- Excellent written and verbal communications and collaboration skills.
- Proficient with Agile software development and, DevSecOps approaches

- Bachelors in IT, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

U.S. Hybrid Work Model
Effective September 5, 2023, employees in office-based positions in the U.S. will be working a Hybrid work consisting of three total days on-site per week, Monday - Thursday, although the specific days may vary by site or organization, with Friday designated as a remote-working day, unless business critical tasks require an on-site presence.This Hybrid work model does not apply to, and daily in-person attendance is required for, field-based positions; facility-based, manufacturing-based, or research-based positions where the work to be performed is located at a Company site; positions covered by a collective-bargaining agreement (unless the agreement provides for hybrid work); or any other position for which the Company has determined the job requirements cannot be reasonably met working remotely. The Company is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this job in certain states and cities within the United States. Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate's relevant skills, experience, and education.
Expected US salary range:
$83,100.00 - $130,900.00
