Job Description

The Senior Brand Leader manages the development, implementation and monitoring of marketing strategies and plans for assigned products/indications for the assigned market to ensure achievement of business goals. This role focuses on ensuring full integration of these plans within the overall brands strategy, leading the development of marketing tools and digital initiatives, and collaborating with other functions and regional teams. In addition, achieves results performing these duties directly, through cross functional teams and/or through field employees ensuring and enforcing compliance with Company policies and procedures, Ethical Business Practices, and applicable regulations.

  • Develops marketing strategies and plans for assigned products or indications in alignment and according to our company marketing principles, applicable policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Ensures the effective implementation of marketing plans to achieve sales objectives by: effectively managing operational budget, monitoring sales results, conducting field visits, establishing relationships with key customers; strategically executing digital initiatives in collaboration with other functions (Commercial, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Policy, Digital & Communication) evaluating effectiveness of activities including communication, promotion and advertising programs and making improvements or changes as necessary.
  • Seeks feedback from field employees, and proactively communicates issues and recommendations to management.
  • Supports the Promotion Review Team approval process.
  • Ensures measurement of Key Process Indicators related to the effectiveness of implemented initiatives using data to evolve the customer engagement model and channels affinity.
  • Ensures strategic development of product plans by participating in the business planning process to support the completion of the Long-Range Operating Plan, forecast, demand planning and other related processes.
  • Work across the brands or indications to optimize brands at the different stages of the life cycle.
  • Manages communication, coordination and monitoring of activities and initiatives that are being implemented through external partners (agencies, translations).
  • Stay updated of market dynamics and continuously analyzes data, key opinion leaders, digital solutions, sales potential, trends, regulations, competition, government, and organizational environment to identify key marketing issues and provide recommendations accordingly.
  • Identifies and recommends for development key opinion leaders with potential to become active advocates of Company products.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Science, Finance, Business, or related field.
  • Master's degree is highly desirable.
  • Four (4) or more years of experience in pharmaceutical industry.
  • Three (3) or more years of experience in marketing or related experience (e.g., brand leader, product manager, omnichannel brand leader).
  • Previous experience with vaccines products or business units is highly desirable.
  • Solid understanding of the marketing planning & implementation process to optimize development of the market.
  • Ability to translate strategic priorities into operational realities, set stretch goals & measure progress.
  • Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
  • Demonstrate the ability to initiate and maintain strategic relationships with stakeholders inside and outside of the organization.
  • Proficient in both spoken and written English and Spanish.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook.
  • Willing to travel at least 20% of the time.
