Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute high-throughput surface plasmon resonance (SPR) experiments to measure antibody-antigen binding affinities
• Analyze and interpret experimental data, preparing clear and concise reports to communicate findings to the research team
• Maintain detailed laboratory records, ensuring compliance with established protocols, quality control measures, and regulatory guidelines
• Assist in the development and optimization of experimental protocols, contributing to the improvement of capabilities and workflow
• Stay up to date with the latest scientific literature and technological advancements in the field of antibody discovery and characterization

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor's (with 2+ years) or Master's in life sciences or related field of study and relevant experience listed below

Required Experience and Skills:

• Experience in biophysical characterization of proteins or antibodies
• Proven experience in conducting SPR experiments
• Knowledge and understanding of protein structure, protein-ligand interactions, and protein biophysical properties
• Demonstrated ability to tackle multiple projects and meet aggressive timelines
• Demonstrated collaborative work experience across organization

Preferred Experience and Skills:

• Hands-on experience with high throughput SPR instruments, such as Carterra LSA or Biacore 8K
• Experience working with high-throughput methods and automation
• Experience with related binding techniques, for example FACS, ITC, ELISA, and our company
• Strong computer skills; experience working with databases and electronic lab notebooks

U.S. Hybrid Work Model

Effective September 5, 2023, employees in office-based positions in the U.S. will be working a Hybrid work consisting of three total days on-site per week, generally Tuesday, Wednesday and either Monday or Thursday, although the specific days may vary by site or organization, with Friday designated as a remote-working day, unless business critical tasks require an on-site presence. This Hybrid work model does not apply to, and daily in-person attendance is required for, field-based positions; facility-based, manufacturing-based, or research-based positions where the work to be performed is located at a Company site; positions covered by a collective-bargaining agreement (unless the agreement provides for hybrid work); or any other position for which the Company has determined the job requirements cannot be reasonably met working remotely. The Company is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this job in certain states and cities within the United States. Expected US salary range:
$102,800.00 - $161,900.00
