Job Description
The primary responsibilities of the Project Sales are sales and relationship management from executive offices down through site level management for our brand of products related specifically to Project/Monitoring System sales. This includes developing, negotiating, managing and growing long-term relationships and sales opportunities for our company's Animal Health Aqua North America products and services across customer accounts. These responsibilities will be carried out in close partnership with the company's Animal Health Aqua North America Conservation and Fish Farm & Hatchery (FFH) Teams. This position requires knowledge of the fish and wildlife conservation related fields and an understanding of the company's Animal Health Aqua North America brand of products.

Key Competencies:
Key responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Execute key strategies and tactics required to accelerate sales within assigned accounts utilizing all available resources and meet revenue goals
- Manage new and existing products within the company's Animal Health Aqua North America portfolio and when necessary provide on-site sales support and facilitate onsite technical support with the assigned strategic account organization
- Coordinate all activities in support of the customer accounts. This includes communicating in detail and frequently with the Conservation Team Lead, FFH Team Lead, Commercial Lead and After Sales Support Team regarding needs and activities planned to meet the needs of the strategic account both as a whole as well as at individual account locations
- To successfully implement the Other Center of Selling principles that identify threats and opportunities
- Gather and clearly communicate market intelligence on a regular basis to the Conservation Team Lead and our company's Animal Health Aqua North America Marketing Lead.
- Develop and maintain strong executive / owner relationships within assigned accounts by presenting products within the company's Animal Health Aqua North America information and business solutions to account executive and mid-level leadership to support their business needs. Develop an in-depth understanding customer needs and communicating that information for our company's Animal Health Aqua North America Conservation Team Lead, Commercial Lead and Regional Business Unit Director.
- Ability to divide customer population into groups of individuals who share similar characteristics and buying behaviors and apply this information to target groups effectively, allocate promotional resources and drive execution of commercial plans.
- Develop proposals, negotiate terms and conditions and implement contractual agreements with accountability for delivering strong financial results for our company's Animal Health Aqua North America
- Collaborate with Animal Health Aqua North America FFH Team to identify customer opportunities within the Animal Health products and increase customer engagement
- Collaboration on new product development

- This position is an individual contributor role. It is critical that the Project Sales position demonstrates the leadership ability to foster collaborative relationships and build a partnership with other internal stakeholders and teams with shared responsibility for customer accounts
Qualifications:
Education Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (Conservation or related discipline preferred)
Required Experience & Skills
- Must have a minimum of 3 years of combined work experience in Sales, Sales Management or Marketing roles in Conservation or related field
- Current knowledge of the North American conservation field
- Demonstrated ability to build business relationships, both internally and externally
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement accurate account plans
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a matrix organization
- Demonstrated ability to implement core strategic marketing plans
- Excellent oral, written and presentation communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across departments and functional areas
- Strong understanding of financial and business metrics
- Strong selling and negotiations skills
- Demonstrated ability to identify, develop and maintain strategic accounts
- History of sound decision making and innovative thinking
- Ability to balance the needs of our company's Animal Health Aqua North America with customer needs
- Ability to work as part of a fast paced, growing team in a developing industry
- Must be results oriented and able to work independently with little direct supervision
- Superior organizational, analytical and time management skills
- Must be able to travel up to 40%
