The successful candidate will possess the following:

• The ability to role model exceptional strategic leadership, as evidenced by influence and accountability for aspects of both our Discovery & Clinical Development strategy.

• Recognized internally and externally as a subject matter expert in cancer biology, with an accompanying record of accomplishment in delivering on oncology drug discovery programs, as evidenced by publications and presentations.

Requirements:

• Ph.D. in Cancer Biology, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, or related field
• 8+ Years of experience in drug discovery and cancer biology research and proven track record of sustained success in program leadership at multiple stages of drug discovery, scientific mentorship, and scientific initiative leadership.
• Experience in leading multi-disciplinary/partner collaborations from project conception through IND-enabling studies.
• Ability to formulate and apply enterprise-wide thinking to drug discovery research endeavors.
• Recognized internally and externally, as evidenced by a strong publication, presentation and/or patent inventorship record.
• Clear ability to lead through influence and collaboration within and across organizational boundaries.
• Extensive experience mentoring other scientists.
• Genuine dedication to enhancing DEI through active participation and role modeling.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
