Main Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree is required. MBA is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 (five) years' experience in the pharmaceutical selling environment, engaging with key thought leaders and influential customers in large group practices, hospitals, or managed care organizations.
  • Minimum of 2 (two) years' experience selling Oncology, Specialty, or Biosimilar products is preferred.
  • Proven experience in Sales & Account management.
  • Expertise in customer engagement and developing strategic business plans for accounts.
  • Understanding of local healthcare systems, medicare, medicaid and commercial.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the capability to interact with individuals from diverse backgrounds and influence senior management, key thought leaders, and customers.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and deliver results with a high level of discipline.
  • Growth mindset with strong negotiation, problem-solving, and conflict management skills.
  • Analytical and planning capabilities.
  • Strong prioritization skills and strategic decision-making abilities.
  • Technologically proficient (e.g., MS Office Suite, iPad).
  • Bilingual communication skills in Spanish and English.

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders within accounts (e.g., Directors of Pharmacy, Senior Procurement Managers, Hospital Management).
  • Serve as the primary interface for designated products and account business matters.
  • Coordinate internal functions and divisions in contract negotiations and product listings.
  • Conduct product promotions and value-based negotiations.
  • Utilize business acumen and financial skills to develop compelling, value-based offers.
  • Monitor account performance according to established KPIs and adjust strategies based on insights.
  • Understand logistical, contracting, and decision-making processes within accounts.
  • Identify and analyze account stakeholders and their perspectives on our company and competitors.
  • Develop comprehensive account plans, identifying business opportunities and objectives.
  • Support contract management by prospecting for opportunities and shaping innovative contract conditions.
  • Gather and analyze market intelligence to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align account strategies with overall business goals.
  • Provide feedback to internal teams to enhance product offerings and customer experiences.
  • Evaluate and manage risks associated with account strategies and plans.
  • Present account strategies and performance updates to senior management.
