Job Description

We are currently looking for a highly motivated and experienced Director of US Oncology Pipeline and Portfolio Strategy to join our team.

As the Director of Pipeline and Portfolio Strategy, your role will involve spearheading the success of the product pipeline and portfolio strategy and you will work closely with Global, US & Organized Customer Access and Reimbursement (OCAR) Oncology leaders throughout the development process and ensure a seamless transition and collaboration with US launch teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of new product strategies for multiple tumors and assets in the US market.

• Develop clear and innovative pipeline strategies for assets in the US market, in collaboration with the global and US tumor and asset marketing leaders, global market access, US OCAR, and medical affairs leaders.

• Ensure incorporation of US commercial input into clinical trial development and global asset strategy development.

• Shape the scientific and commercial strategies in the US market for the pipeline assets, encompassing unbranded strategies and go-to-market strategies like positioning, segmentation, and target channel selection.

• Lead, collaborate and execute early US marketing activities including L3 Early, foundational market research, and market landscape mapping & analysis with key partners in collaboration with Global & US Marketing teams and OCAR.

• Monitor and evaluate the potential impact of external market trends and competitive dynamics, evolve pipeline & portfolio strategy accordingly.

• Embed a portfolio view in New Product planning by giving consideration to internal & external pipeline programs and positioning.

• Identify gaps in products, diseases, or customer understanding and implement insights or plans to address and bridge those gaps.

• Foster strong partnerships with tumor marketing teams, cross-functional partners, and global counterparts to maximize business opportunities.

• Navigate internal and external environments successfully to deliver exceptional value.

• Demonstrate effective cross-functional leadership abilities, with a proven track record in creating and executing successful strategies.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Master's degree or MBA is preferred.

Required Skills:

• US or Global experience / Oncology experience.

• Min 5 to 10 years of experience in strategic marketing, new product marketing, early pipeline strategy roles within the pharmaceutical industry.

• Demonstrated track record of successfully leading the development and commercialization of new products.

• Strong understanding of market dynamics, trends, and competitive landscape in the pharmaceutical industry.

• Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing gaps in the market.

• Effective cross-functional collaboration and leadership abilities.

• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex concepts to diverse stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

• Product launch experience.

• Commercial strategy and scientific strategy.
