Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Global Marketing Director for upper gastrointestinal cancers. Our Marketing team is passionate about bringing our medicines and vaccines to our customers around the world. Through digital listening and patient analytics, we are able to understand our customers' needs and strive to provide solutions to meet them.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Work effectively with cross-functional partners including research and development, medical affairs, regulatory affairs, manufacturing, Alliances commercial teams, Business Development & Licensing, market analytics, international and domestic operations, legal, scientific communications, professional education, training and development, health care compliance to successfully navigate the internal and external environments and deliver value to our customers.
  • Provides commercial leadership and input in various settings such as product development team, Key Opinion Leader engagement execution, competitive strategy, target product profile development, health authority interactions, global regulatory filing strategy, launch readiness reviews, organized customer interactions, market research, demand, revenue, and Profit & Loss, forecasting, and Business Development & Licensing activities.
  • Responsible for maximizing physician acceptance, market penetration, profitability, and new indication/ product launch uptake.
  • Provides leadership, support, and expertise to country marketing and sales organizations as well as distribution channels for the product line

The position will require:

  • Outstanding leadership in market assessment, disease state strategy, product clinical development, product strategy, market development, thought leader engagement, competitive dynamics, issues management, forecasting, opportunity valuations, resource requirements, and overall flawless launch strategy.
  • Dynamic thinking and the ability to manage details for a complex and rapidly evolving marketplace
  • Thoughtful and rapid communications to a broad audience providing implications and guidance for key market events

Education Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree - preferably with scientific focus
  • Preferred: MBA, master's degree, Medical Degree, or Doctorate/PhD

Required Experience and Skills

  • Minimum of 8 years of commercial experience in pharmaceuticals or related area like consulting, agency etc. that would be relevant to the role.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven record of leadership in a complex matrix environment.
  • Pharmaceutical Product Launch experience.
  • Global Marketing experience.
  • Development of product disease strategy.
  • Understanding of clinical data.
  • Strong executive presence with ability to handle complex projects.

Preferred Experience and Skills

  • Oncology Commercial experience.
  • Oncology launch experience.
  • Country-level marketing experience.
  • Proficiency with application of Data, Analytics & Digital tools for marketing of the future.

U.S. Hybrid Work Model

The Company is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this job in certain states and cities within the United States. Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate's relevant skills, experience, and education.

Expected US salary range:
$181,600.00 - $285,800.00
