Job Description

The Pharmacokinetics, Dynamics, Metabolism, and Bioanalytics (PDMB) Regulated Bioanalytics Department is seeking an Associate Director of Program Management to join our Integrated Program Logistics & Sample Management group. This role will support work across groups within the Regulated Bioanalytics Department, including work at our Company's new state-of-the-art AdVAnce GxP research facility in West Point, PA. At this new facility, we will combine the power of innovative robotics, IT platforms, and science to accelerate vaccines and enable late-stage clinical trials through the generation of timely, high-quality regulated bioanalytical data. As the AdVAnce facility will not be fully constructed and ready for occupancy until 2026, initial roles will complete training and perform work primarily at our Company's Springhouse Innovation Park facility in Lower Gwynedd Township, PA.

Demonstrates leadership of the Program Management team to support the regulated bioanalytical laboratories and our Company pipeline. May compile metrics that provide insights into operational efficiency and throughput. Provides representation on multidisciplinary teams.

Education Minimum Requirement

  • BA/BS with 10 years of experience, MA/MS with 6 years of experience, or Ph.D with 4 years. Degrees may be in a variety of areas, including the biological or chemical sciences, computer sciences, engineering, medical technology.

Responsibilities

  • Manage individual contributors and be accountable for the performance of the reporting team
  • Mentor and support career development of reporting team members
  • Plan, track, and ensure all aspects of project deliverables are progressing according to specifications and timelines
  • Communicate project information across various functional areas, support functions, and alliance partners
  • Create, update, and maintain project documents
  • Facilitate and document outcomes of team meetings, ensuring meetings have a clear purpose and objectives. Follow up with relevant stakeholders to ensure all actions are completed
  • Proactively identify and resolve risks, conflicts, inter-dependencies and project issues quickly and efficiently
  • Follow issues through to resolution and ensure all key stakeholders are informed of outcomes

  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to perform under pressure and in a changing environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills using creative thinking, gathering data from appropriate stakeholders, and conflict resolution through collaborative engagement across functional teams
  • Ability to establish good working relationships with team members, lead and inspire team members, and work with all levels of management
  • Ability to hold others accountable for delivery
  • Strong skills to drive change that enhances processes within the company
  • Skills to utilize knowledge, networks and data to make rapid and appropriate decisions with some management oversight and to determine when escalation of issues is necessary

Preferred Experience & Skills

  • Experience with project management software
  • PMP not required but preferred
