Our Company's Pediatric and Hepatitis organization has realized significant growth and expansion over the past few years and is poised to continue growing over the long-range planning horizon. It is with a recently updated growth strategy and sponsorship for critical investments across manufacturing, clinical, and commercial areas that the business will execute and deliver against its growth ambitions. The Pediatric and Hepatitis organization is comprised of 7 inline brands, represented in more than 100 countries around the globe. This organization is also home to our Company's new RSV asset.

MMRV Franchise Overview

The MMRV franchise is the foundation of the pediatric and hepatitis vaccines business and is a growth driver for the organization. This franchise is a significant contributor to our Company's broader portfolio as the 4th largest product family for the company and the 2nd largest product family for the vaccine division. Our Company continues to invest in the franchise to drive growth and expansion over the LROP. The MMRV Franchise is comprised of three brands, which are available in more than 75 markets around the world, with nearly $2.4B in annual revenue.

Position Overview

The Associate Director, MMRV Franchise Manager is a key new role reporting to the franchise lead. This role will be tasked with overseeing several of Global Marketing's responsibilities for the portfolio, with a focus on new market launches for varicella-containing vaccines. This is a marketing leadership role with core responsibilities listed below:

  • Develop and execute franchise strategy to support ongoing growth of the business while ensuring core markets and established business remains competitive and differentiated.
  • Ensure strong alignment to, and execution of, the franchise strategy across the extended Vaccines teams (Global Cross-Functional Team, Country Marketing teams, Medical Affairs, Policy, Market Access, Promotions, Market Research, Communications, Learning & Development etc.).
  • Oversee and manage Cross Functional Team meetings and strategic marketing input into Regional Assemblies and Global Marketing Forums.
  • Partner with Regional leads and country teams to drive MMRV strategy and prioritized deliverables in key markets - with a focus on new Varicella NIP development.
  • Competitive scenario planning: closely tracking and integrating competitive intelligence into franchise strategies.
  • Represent the brands in scope at Global Sales & Operation Planning (S&OP) and address global supply, allocation, tender strategy and NIP scenario planning as required.
  • Lead development and execution of L3 framework with Global Cross Functional Team and county team input.
  • Develop franchise-specific public and private marketing strategies and execution plans, including market and performance analyses consistent with the overall franchise strategy.
  • Drive global market research initiatives to inform global strategy and/or support local execution.
  • Direct development of global promotional content, in alignment with strategy and in partnership with external advertising agency.

Education expectations

  • Required: BA/BS
  • Preferred: Master's degree in Business Administration, Public Health, Health Policy, Health Economics or related disciplines

Knowledge/Skills/Leadership Behaviors

  • Minimum 5 years of combined experience in one or more of the following: Marketing, Access, Commercial Operations, marketing support roles, or equivalent/related roles

  • Based out of US Headquarters location

Travel

  • Attend internal meetings, conferences or country market development workshops 15-20%.

U.S. Hybrid Work Model

The Company is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this job in certain states and cities within the United States. Expected US salary range:
$135,500.00 - $213,400.00
