Job Description
Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) seeks Radiologist Assistants at our main hospital in Manhattan’s Upper East Side (1275 York Avenue). We offer the highest standards of comprehensive cancer care delivered by MSK oncologists, in an environment designed to meet the unique needs of cancer patients and their families.
You will:
- Work in a collaborative multi-modality environment, support Attending Radiologists, fellows and residents with cross sectional image protocols, initial image observation of plain films and limited diagnostic ultrasound.
- Review CT imaging referrals and instruct technologists of appropriate imaging protocol.
- Make initial observations of general radiography films collaborating with Radiologists for review and approval.
- Assist with CT cytograms.
- Perform Modified Barium Swallow Fluoroscopy.
- Perform limited diagnostic ultrasound exams for review and approval by a Radiologist.
- Patient education and consent for contrast media.
- Assessment and documentation of IV contrast reactions or extravasation.
- Review patients medical record to verify appropriateness of requested exam.
- Administer contrast agents as prescribed by a Radiologist, monitor patient for adverse reactions.
- Obtain and evaluate vital signs, perform limited physical examination as appropriate reporting findings to a collaborating Radiologist.
- Act as a liaison between referring services and Radiologist.
You need:
- Completion of an accredited RA program with an MS in Health Science required.
- ARRT certification as a Registered Radiologist Assistant.
- New York State Department of Health licensure.
- BLS/ACLS certification.
Hours:
- 4 - 10 hour day shifts, rotating weekends

Pay Range: $116,800-$192,800/annually
