Responsible for developing security and preparedness capabilities, along with implementing and managing strategies in support of the safety and security of people and assets. Practices 200% safety accountability – self and others.


 

What You'll be Doing:

  • Drives achievement of all asset protection goals and accountability for protective security.
  • Designs and maintains crisis management, business continuity and emergency planning programs.
  • Supports executive security needs: design and implementation of security systems, technology, processes and team development.
  • Conducts risk and threat analysis; develops and implements mitigating strategies and tactics.
  • Identifies and assesses application of industry trends and protection approaches for use within the organization.
  • Partners with service providers to deliver high-quality security performance, while continually improving service and value.
  • Assesses and manages potentially violent situations as required.
  • Conducts sensitive investigations of the most complex nature.
  • Performs other duties as required.

What You Bring With You (Qualifications):

  • College degree or commensurate experience in asset protection, security or law enforcement.
  • 2 years minimum asset protection experience.
  • Prior investigations and protective security experience preferred.
  • Skilled in interviewing and interrogation methods
  • Organizational skills.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • Understanding of the criminal justice system.
  • Understanding of civil and criminal law procedures.
  • Understanding of security technology.
