About the Team:
As a Partner Account Manager, you will achieve sales, account growth, and client success goals at one of our most strategic accounts - including identifying and qualifying platform growth opportunities, and efficiently using resources in order to bring opportunities to a successful conclusion. Responsible for maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction - consistent with Medidata.
Responsibilities:
- Develop strategic account management plans for assigned accounts
- Accomplishment of all revenue and booking targets within assigned territory
- Represent Medidata in a manner consistent with company ethics
- Coordinate resources within sales and other departments
- Maintain account and opportunity data within company systems as directed, including Salesforce.com
- Quarterly and annual sales targets are covered under a separate document
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required
- Requires a minimum of 15 years of successful relevant experience, including Medical Device experience
- Strong knowledge of life sciences industry, including R&D, Clinical, Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and IT functions
- Demonstrated consistent track record of being a trusted advisor within large accounts
- Ability to leverage a consultative approach to drive positive outcomes for clients
- Demonstrated consistent track record in exceeding sales and related account targets
- Ability to gain executive credibility, understand organizational political dynamics and competitive awareness
- Strong business planning experience maintaining clean records of sales outreach and contacts in a CRM
- Strong application software experience
- Experience establishing communication and engagement with prospects
- Demonstrated success with process approached selling
As with all roles, Medidata sets ranges based on many factors including function, level, candidate experience, and geographic location.
- The salary range for positions that will be physically based in the NYC Metro Area is $96,750 - $129,000.
- The salary range for positions that will be physically based in the California Bay Area is $84,750 - $112,000.
- The salary range for positions that will be physically based in the Boston Metro Area is $78,750 - $104,000.
- The salary range for positions that will be physically based in Texas or Ohio is $84,000 - $116,000.
- The salary range for positions that will be physically based in all other locations within the United States is $95,250 - $127,000.
Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Medidata provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a commission on the terms of applicable plan documents, and many of Medidata's non-sales positions are eligible for annual bonuses.
